Can’t listen without lump in my throat, tears appears right at 01:17, 02:54… Such a memory lane. Its weekend, my mother is well, alive sitting in the next room and im playing NFS till night and whole life is ahead…
Many thanks Mellow Sonic for keeping this legendary track alive for the generations to come. Waiting for your future remixes of this track. Romulus 3 is the pinnacle of game soundtrack, unreachable, unmatchable.
Romulus 3 will always be the soundtrack to the history showcase of the McLaren F1 in NFS2:SE for me. Specifically, the part about Bruce McLaren's tragic death, and his team continuing his dream of making the F1.
If I worked at EA I would hire you and have a developer start making a NFS 3 remake. This is an awesome remix of my favorite track in the game. Thank you 👍👍
honestly though, i'd just arrange a team of people to make an NFS 2/3 inspired game and hire this man as to make the songs which resemble the original songs. sort of what BallisticNG did for the Wipeout 1/2/3 fans
Agreed!! Everyone's doing it now, why not with NFS 3, or next time there's another great NFS game, it's should be "NFS Evolution", and put every car, from every NFS game that ever existed, and all their OST tracks, their now remixed tracks, put themselves on the same realm as Gran Tourismo, Project Gotham, and Forza
Some time back in the days, remember myself and my older brother, getting back from school, eating food and the next thing booting up the pentium 2 system to play this wonder of a NFS title, not just that, staying in the menu to listen to this masterpiece, damn we had good taste in music and this is from where we evolved. Only thing left behind are the memories, the open window to let the breeze in the warm summer while we vibe along this track... Pure bliss.. Big up for the remix, it did the justice. Wishing all our generation the best of health, wealth, happiness and success.
this masterpiece was the first ive heard when i fall in love with car racing. i collected toy cars like hotwheels. ive played nfs hot pursuit and abe odessey.. everytime i listen to this i share a tear..
For a moment i went back to 1999 sitting in my desk after school starting NFS until late night... What a memory man. Almost letting down my tears 24 years later
Can't go wrong with keeping it classic. No overdone crazieness. Just improv on the original. That's all that needs to ever be done to any rom di prisco. Any electronic in general.
This track has something special. I don't know how to explain the feeling but everytime i listen to it i get special emotions. Memories, joy, energy, my first pc, OMG so many mamories. The fact that you remixed this is priceless. Thank you very much.
Man, I was eleven years old when NFS III: Hot Putsuit was released... I absolutely love Rom Di Prisco's work, and your renditions are insanely good. But this one... This one always hits the spot. Excellent. Hats off to you, dear sir.
I would oftentimes just sit there in front of the crt and LISTEN - to 1998 me it was like the latest, most modern piece of art I could get my hands (and ears) on. Rom's music, his ultra high tech style of breaks and synths impressed me to the core, laying the foundations for my enforced taste in jungle, atmospheric / intelligent dnb, drum and bass, techstep, breakcore and similar styles. I mean, I've heard breakbeats and some jungle tracks, rave and hardcore before, but these sounds really stuck with me in such a positive way! And you my friend, have honored this music without taking it's soul! Hope Rom gives you a nod :D
You managed to keep the essence of the original track in both remixes, beautiful work. Both remixes are energizing editions of an already incredible and timeless original track. Thank you!
One of my favorite songs extended to 6 mins, with my absolutely most desired drum'n'bass-styled drums (which I struggle to find more songs like this), combined wit the image of my favorite pursuit car when I used to play this game all in one. Thank you.
We didn't appreciate the '90s days which were very valuable, for me at least, if were compare those days with the current one and those times were gone in the blinking of an eye, that actually makes me very upset. We were naive and innocent back then...
I just cant appreciate todays shit. I tried, but I aint feelin it, chief. The 90s were THE time! Too bad I was too young to enjoy this music in clubs and raves back then. A real shame that we lost music of this kind.
I think it was the first mix of this that brought me to your channel, and I have loved your NFS mixes since. So, like everyone else, it was extremely surprising to see a second mix of this track. I still listen to the original AND your mix to this day and still love the fact that you DIDN'T DISTURB the time capsule, but ADDED TO IT, and that's what I think makes this, like the first, one of the best NFS mix tracks, and music tracks in general, I've listened to in A LOOONG time. I wish I could afford your album, because I would covet this batch of tracks so much. They're freaking outstanding! Thank you SO MUCH for this, really!
We were battling it out with a friend split-screen in NFS3, OMG what a time. We all were little s..ckers yet we were happy! Those PCs were true magic goddamit!
Very good job, I feel like you really respected the original work and rejuvenated it as well. Exactly the kind of remix I was hoping to find one day of this amazing track, thank you very much!
This is so cool. You have recreated almost every sound to the original. Very well done. I would really like to hear this remix in the next NFS release.
Damn... just when I thought your first remix of this song was a masterpiece and couldn't possibly be improved on... I guess I stand corrected. Amazing work as always! ;)

From the beginning thanks to Rom Di Prisco for creating this masterpiece
I’d love to hear Hybrid Minds, touch it they are King of the Rollers when it comes to drum n bass tracks
@@ВладимирОсипов-э5ю thats comon in life that people dont give credit to the ones who created something originaly.
I'm really glad that someone else appreciate how awesome the NFS soundtracks were. For me this music is tightly coupled with my memories of childhood.

This song is in NFS II SE too! and i play it too! it just crashes a lot :(

Listening to this makes me miss playing on my fathers old Windows 98 Gateway.
Also good work, glad I stumbled upon this!
Brilliant! Brings me back to days when I eagerly wanted to upgrade my PC ram from 32mb to 64 mb just to run these games XD..

This remix is nice, but the original is unbeatable, it achieved perfection 22 years ago :')
Brought me back to '98 instantly with tear in my eye playing this on an IBM Pentium II thank you :')

The legendary classic reworked again, great! Digging the lofi-ish mix here. :)
This is such an Amazing Compilation makes me nostalgic when i look back at the 2000s old pc games with this song
What a great remix. Keeps everything that made the original sound amazing, yet places it to 2022 with an amazing sound quality. What a tune

Legendary track! Nostalgia is kicking in hard right now.
"Music takes you places your feet can't."
Holy shit man. Great job!! I always hoped someone would remake or remaster all of these old jams. Beautifully done
One of the best tracks ever - and one of the best drum and bass electronic sounds ever. Immortal song - bow...

Me too, Everyday
The amount of times I've come to listen to this on loop for hours while racing, I love it. Great remix!

There's a whole sub genre dedicated for these drums, search for jungle music or jungle drum and bass!
I think it's a very decent and nice remix, especially the final part that seriously took me back to the 2000s.
I’m so glad u came back. This gave me goosebumps. My first and 2nd favorite was nfs 3 because of this song alone
*Magnificent nostalgia.*
This used to give me strange but very beautiful vibes back the first time it played during a race. Nostalgia hitting hard ❤️
