Thanks for watching!
Norman is one of the best interviewers I have ever seen. A natural. These props are film worthy too. Bravo!
I so want that X-Wing in my life. I
I think the microphone was a prop too :P
Wow, an original TIE Fighter helmet! That's so amazing!
at 3:00 when he said star wars yeah.. . I laughed so hard
xD
so cool!
hahaha, hey thanks for watching!
Good questions, Norm!
Cool. Back in the 70's I actually went to primary school with the son of John Mollo the costume designer off Star Wars. I remember him then bringing a few original helmets to School, I'm sure one was a Stormtrooper and I vaguely remember a Darth Vader. Suffice to say as this was around 1977/8 he was the coolest kid in school.
Audio is all jacked up...
Sounds like the battery died in hand-held and they went with backup stereo recorder. They could have at least added a filter, but it's better than camera audio.
Wrong, well sort of wrong as the definition goes.
Kitbashing is mainly taking parts from other model kits.
You can clearly see on most miniature spaceship models from the 70's-90's a lot of common kits they borrowed form were tank models (wheels, details from the engine cover), jet aircraft, rocket models, etc. Combined with bodies made with polystyrene sheets and/or custom vacuum formed et al.
I made my own spaceships back in the day the same way.
In the original "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" mothership model you can see in person at the "National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center" close to DC, they used a dozens of HO scale train tanker car bodies, model tank parts, etc.
I need to find out how much they want for that MENDL'S box!
Did anyone notice the holy hand grenade from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
Was that a holy hand grenade in the background 8:00
it`s an imperial orb
+Christian Meyer awe... Disappointed. No Python props :(
ah you mean fom the movie. it looks similar
bad focus
1...2...5 3....oh 3
yea if you watch prop stores videos on their Facebook they talk about it and that is the only module of the Trojan Rabbit that was made other then the huge one. it's super rare for python stuff to go up for sale but those are real python
I want to own all of the Star Wars props!
the guy who got the helmet as a kid is lucky af
Watching this after Hank's X-Wings announcement video is so weird oO
My mind says yes, my wallet says no
check your battery for your Mic . just a thought.
Lol anyone else notice sloth from the goonies
He said AT-AT like "at"-"at". To each their own, but that is one of my pet peeves.
In Britain, it's an at -at. Never knew any different, until now.
+Colin Morgan (Trickshot72) In Britain, an AT-AT is a fucking AT-AT.
atat is inexcusable.
Henry Ambrose Honestly, I grew up with Stae wars, and I've never heard it spoken any other way than at-at. I can only offer my sincerest apologies. Anyway, at-at sounds better, so I'm glad I was wrong, and will continue to call it an at-at if it's my dying breath.
i want that mendls cake box from grand Budapest😍
YAY £3000 for an off the shelf model kit. Prop sellers are crooks!
Also £50,000 for something that may not even be from the movie!
Well these pieces specifically are collector items, i.e. stuff for the stupid rich who don't mind spending a million on socks.
Is Danica standing behind the camera (see mirror image) but isn't even credited?!?? Shame! ;)
70 000 pounds??? that's insane
Norm love Sloth?
Do they do DC.....I'd love a Batmobile from them
I think I saw a Batarang on the top shelf in the beginning of the video, so there's a chance they do. That'd be cool to see.
Show the stuff, not the guys talking.
stfu Eric.
+ampz :'(
You like lookin at the guys. Oh, ok buttmule.
There was plenty of B-roll. The tested audience would moan whatever they uploaded. I have never in my time on UA-cam heard a more entitled and rude audience.
What do you expect when Lootmule (Norm, whoever he is) tells me to "stfu"?
why does this sound weird
Please stop trying to get stereo sound from a mono microphone!!!! I've heard all kinds of weird audio effects in tested interviews. Please stop it and use the original audio recordings, you clearly dont know what you are doing!
