Federal regulations, medicare are so behind the times. Innovation, scientific research should be rewarded, not bogged down by regulations and bureaucratic red tape. Let's work to move science and technology forward and get these innovative products to the people that need them the most.
$28000?! HELL NO!!!! I WILL NOT EVEN SPEND $3000 ON IT!!! JUST BECAUSE THEY ADD A LITTLE TECH TO IT DOES’T MEAN ALL THE DISABLED INDIVIDUALS OR THEIR FAMILIES HAVE TO SUFFER BREAKING THEIR BANKS?! NOT FAIR!!! THEY SHOULD MAKI IT AFFORDABLE ENOUGH SO THAT MOST DISABLED CAN ENJOY IT! WHY DOES EVERYTHING HIGH TECH HAS TO BE ONLY FOR RICH?! WE ALL HAVE A HEART IN OUR CHESTS!!!
@@myrahope9304Your 100 percent right, I would love to have one. The problem ? the technology is expensive to develop and put into production. If the company can't make x amount of dollars per unit, they're out of business. Imagine spending 50 million dollars developing a wheelchair, only to sell a few hundred in 20 years. You lost 45 million dollars... Medicare would only pay about $5000 on each unit. How do you give it away for 1500 dollars? Someone has to pay.No one works for free. Cars are cheap, only because manufacturers sell millions of units. Hopefully, as they sell more and more units, the cost will go down, The insurance companies need to step up and help as well. Especially the government. We give trillions in foreign development aid, while Americans in need go without.

Insurance companies won’t cover it because it’s too different and they’re stuck in the stone ages although $28,000 is a good price
