@sam2725 Nope. I started playing chess 4 months ago, and I gained 1000 rating points using only the jobava and the scandi ( I'm now a 1400 and I can easily get to 1500 if I play more). It's not about what the engine says about the opening, it's about if the opening fits your style. The scandi is just so solid and easy to learn. I would say it might be bad at 2000+ level, but for sub 2000s it's easily one of the best opening for black against e4. All you really need to be aware of is sacs on e6, otherwise there's no immediate attack. Yes it's a bit passive but come on you are playing as black what do you really expect
Great job seeing that sequence at the end. You've got this!
nice sacrifice at the end there (!) you had all pieces working together on his weak king
great game! good luck man
u got this bro
I beg you play the scandanaivian as black against 1.e4 it’s more your style
How does it fit his style? I think its just a very bad opening at any level
@@sam2725 thats what they all say until they use the scandi
@@StormsoCool I dont use it, since facing it is so easy. If white doesnt immediately castle and allow a quick attack its useless
Yh I’m gonna give it a go
