I know what you mean, and I think it's because the sounds are very "blunt" - virtually all the sounds in this game are very sudden and they never overstay their welcome, which paradoxically lets them "sink in" way better

Info: The last two sounds named "Free Refills Forever" and "Kola" are part of an easter egg where if you take a walkie talkie to the wall behind the drill and put it up to your face there's a 3% Chance every 40 seconds that either of these sounds play. How Mysterious!

It’s so surprising because it doesn’t really sound like anything that would make sense, besides from maybe some sort of siren, but it’s strangely calming, but maybe that’s just the softness of it
So there's one noise that's just a loud-ass earrape sound that had to be lowered by 15% in this video so that it doesn't but your eardrums. It's in the game just to startle players randomly. Also one that's a female voice saying "hey" into your ear so that you can shit your pants just in case the previous one didn't give you a heart attack. This dev is a genius. An evil one, but a genius nonetheless.
Thank you for this even if it ends up slightly outdated it’s really hard to find the sounds for this game no one has seemingly made a video with every sound so this is nice
A lot of these sounds happen when your insanity rises, because of a “hallucination” mechanic. Just stay in the area without being near a teammate and you’ll hear creepy ass things sometimes.
