I'm a lume nut, so always appreciate a vid like this. That MTM is nuts, lol! Look forward to your unboxing of it. I just picked up a Marathon, with their proprietary MaraGlo, which lasts through the night. My older Luminox watches are already a bit dimmer, as the years roll by, the unfortunate drawback of Tritium. My Armourlite is newer and still well lit. Great video!
I'm always on the lookout for a good field watch with tritium and that Armourlite looks good. The best tritium I've found is in the Deep Blue watches with the flat tritium tubes. Mine has very much brighter tritium than any of my Luminox models.
What tritium are these running. I don't know how much you know about tritium but t-25 and t-100 tubes are most popular. T-100 is the brightest tritium you can get. Thanks. God bless
Tritium tubes, in my experience, have a useful life of about eight years, after which the lume has mostly faded and the watch has limited utility. I would never invest much money in a tritium tube watch.
Nice video Chris(as usual) I am surprise however that you did not review or mention Ball watches as they have a great line of watches that use Tritium and are most generous with their application of tubes. I own one and love it. Just wanted to mention this for your audience. Keep up the good work.

CASIO GA1000 - AMAZING LUME !!!!!!!!!!!! and Battery Light !!!!!
Great video, just what I was looking for.
That luminox and the MTM are my favs
I always check the lume on a watch before buying it, don't know why though, I am always asleep before it dims anyway....
Nice. Loving the Luminox. Very cool.
LED indeed (LED = Light-Emitting Diode vs LCD = Liquid Crystal Display)
MTM is very intersting... would be perfect if the dial was also a solar panel to maintain the charge.

Luminox T25 disappointing
@@defeodome2 mmm ok. That stinks. Still glows and able to read in the dark. But t-100 would've been a bit better. Especially for the price.
I got a MWC Savage watch excellent 👌 bit of kit
Can you do a similar video for women's watches? I want to know which watches for women have the best lume or tritium.
If you carried a small mirror, you could self charge the loom fully with that flashlight.
And/or have an emergency signalling device on you...lol

How many years does a decent lume hold up in comparison? It also loses its efficiency, isn’t it?

What model bertucci?
The best tritium watch is the Traser P67 Super Sub. Traser is the company that invented tritium tubes.
This is watch mtm black falcan that king of jordan wears and king of spin olso waer it black howk ... ilove this watch mtm ......
Luminox really needs T100 disappointed in them for using T25
Is there a watchmaker still using the T100? Thanks
@@diegos2594 several Ball, Traser, Isobrite. Done with Luminox
@@defeodome2 Thanks a lot!
@@diegos2594 Nite watch uk use t 100 in divers and tactical ,I have 2 ,brightest tubes I've seen .Great watch as well .
@@defeodome2 Which Balls use T100? They're labeled T25 on some and T Swiss on others, but don't specifically call out T100
Nothing screams tactical more than no light discipline 😂😂😂
