to be honest, it would sound very abuseable. because first, players could use 2 devices, one with their main account, and the other one, a new account. and if trading is unlockable very early into the game, they could just trade all of the games that had in their alt account to their main account. but that will only happen unless the devs have a solution to this problem when they think about a trading system
So at max level , he’s saving 8 hours per 24 hours then calculating at 30 days 30x8=240 hours = 10 days per 30days(a month). It’s a good investment but I prefer he work continuously on same building without assigning him daily, cause sometimes we forgot 😅.
bro i am a fellow f2p who has been saving up gems for a long long time now, currently only 13k gems left but its because i maxed builder apprentice and have every single gem purchasable cosmetic, including all hero skins and all obstacles and stuff like that like you, i really wish there was a gem purchasable scenery, i also bought the war scenery (its kind of a scam)
If I count the gems from league achievements (I'm currently at crystal league and 1000 gems already), I will get enough gems to max out the apprentice, but I'm at th 11 rn, so the max level is 4 I don't really want gems, so just spending it freely on the apprentice, totally ignoring these "investment" and "payback" things

I am a f2p player and I have used my gems for opening more space for the maps and buying decoration, I am rushing from townhall 9 to 14 because I like jungke scenery, 2 days later I will have unlock townhall 13 and I will upgrade builder's apprentice to lvl7 I already have 1012 gems, even after upgrading to max I have to spend 9000 gems for the quipments because I needed that decorations from the events, for having giant gauntlet and frozen arrow I reached to champion when I was at townhall 9, and I had bought them by spending 3000 gems and I rewarded myself by buying jolly queen skin, my plan is to max the regular equipments while I am fixingy rushed base at townhall 14 and I will decide about buying epic equipments later on. we'll see how long I can keep playing and how many gems from achievments I might recieve, I am not a native speaker but I tried to write about my expreience grammarly correct, I hope you enjoy maxing your base 🎉

In short, to make the best of your investment out of this apprentice, you need to be an avid player (not pro) of COC for awhile
Im f2p too, but spent more than 6k gems on skins over the years (regret it ngl)
