I think we must understand this issues their intent to stand as independent is for the next parliament and not this current parliament.

Alhassan Wayo Seini resigned as 1st vice Chairman of NPP and joined NDC. He stood on the ndc ticket and won tamale central seat and ushered in as parliametarian in 2005 january. He rejoined npp in parliamentarian and was sacked based on Article 97 of the 1992 contitution. In February, 2006 he stood on the ticket of NPP and lost to NDC Inusah Fuseini.
