Oh my God I'm gonna make you so jealous look at my little picture that's my little buddy that lands on me when I'm meditating the little guy will hangout with me for 5 to 10 Minutes at a time, It is such a beautiful experience if people could only understand It's all about peace love and light That little birdie knows that I'd rather die than hurt him. He comes to me when I'm playing my guitar and when I'm meditating such a beautiful thing I get all tearie eyed when I talk about it...
Thank you for sharing your photo and your beautiful experience. 💖💖💖
omg
Thank you very much. I love the hummers that I get. My area is the ruby throat hummingbird
You're welcome! Ruby-throated hummingbirds should be around late May thru early October, depending upon your area. Happy birding!
@@wbuonthefly9526 yes they've been here for a while now. Thank you
Thank you for such an interesting and short video. Have to get the mister
Yes, you do! LOL. But, we have watched hummingbirds flitting through misters and it's just another amazing experience. Misters & drippers also attract many other birds, especially those that may be migrating through your area. Happy birding!
I love your video, especially about the water mist. That is something I must do. I am a newbie, just starting in a year ago or so. I actually had a hummingbird build a nest in the middle of my hanging rattail cactus. I have moved my residence now and have a much smaller house and yard, which I love. I am turning it into a hummingbird place the hummingbirds will like. So far so good. One of my hummingbird videos is getting good views. If you want to look at it and have any suggestions on how I can improve it or the others that are not so good, that would be wonderful. Either way, keep up the good work. Thank you for the video.
Nice videos! How fun for you and so lovely of you to share that joy with everyone!
Where can I find the mini mister? I only found a regular mister on WBU. I’m in Tustin CA and looking to buy the mini mister. Thanks!
Are you near the Yorba Linda WBU? They are showing the same Mini Mister we love on their site: order.wbu.com/yorbalinda/bird-baths-%26-houses/bird-baths-%26-water
So thank you for the info... I'm new at this
You are so welcome!
I would want a link for the mister for water for humming birds. No description coming up for me
We have links to each of the Wild Birds Unlimited represented by this particular channel in our bio. It would depend on where you live. Try finding the WBU closest to you, just about every store should carry the mister. www.wbu.com/store-locator/
Me too 8 feeders -one flew by for a sec and took off again . I keep my feeders clean 🧼 at ALL times - only this is I don’t have any flowers 💐 hanging around …. Some bushes out back but that it I even made a H Bird fountain ⛲️…
i only get one all summer it must have a next around but that s it .. its a female..
That is awesome!
@@wbuonthefly9526 it’s gotten better I wasn’t liking out my window 🪟 now I’m seeing them ans have been recording them .. soooo adorable !
@@rrahbit From what I noticed, hummingbirds can be very territorial. Also, i've noticed that sparrows are as well, especially when they're nesting. I noticed that they were chasing the hummers away, so I had to move the hummer feeders (as well as my hanging plants) to a different section of my backyard.
@@yvonnem.langlois5197 oh really .. i ll have to look at that...
☝️way.=You're me.😊🤷♀️🙂💖👍😎
Thank you, I had a ton of hummers last year and this year I've only seen 2? What's up? Nothing has changed. I've got 5 feeders, just like last year. I'm so bummed.
i only get one all summer
@Angela Kirunda same here and hardly any people around...
@Angela Kirunda I know. I just don't get it. The feeders are visible for them. Plants and water right below but I'm still waiting. I have read they pretty much remember and come back to the same places as long as when they arrive there's nectar :( ?????
PS I watch this lady who is a bit out there but I love her. I've learned so much about humming birds from her. She also does gardening. The U tube channel is Robbie and Gary loves gardening ( I think) She lives in Southern California. She has thousands of hummingbirds and a lot of them just stay on her property. She makes feeders out of a ton of odd things but she is so much fun to watch. Hope your having a wonderful day.
@@margosugitachi9693 yes i have watched many of her videos ..
Where do you place the mini mister ?
The mister can go either with a small bird bath, even a small cup or dish, or attached to a tree branch or the side of your deck. Just about anywhere, really!
@@wbuonthefly9526 where do you buy the mini mister ?
@@vanschermerhorn7167 Hi! You may purchase one from almost any Wild Birds Unlimited store. Here is a store locator: www.wbu.com/store-locator/
🙄alright since you're repeating.uh! ☝️If you don't attract them naturally?=🤫. They are attracted to (not caging them.)& if that doesn't work?add putting (seeds out for them.)😊🙂yw!#Golden Wisdom.😉✍️write that down.& have a& make it a beautiful day✌️💖😎
Are you asking about attracting hummingbirds? Because they really do not eat seeds. They are attracted to native flowers because of the nectar found in the flowers. You can offer a replicate nectar via hummingbird feeder by combing 4 parts water with 1 part table sugar. Also have a water supply, like a small bird bath or misting water will attract hummingbirds. 💖💖
