Alton Towers April 2013 with a couple mates schools were in so we got most rides done by lunch because the queues were short. Went back in August 2013, queued for The Smiler for like 3-4 hours only got like 4 rides done
Wow! That's a super long wait, the main reason I try and avoid August! April is a great time to visit for queues, can even be fairly quiet at the weekends!
This might not be as bad but yesterday, i queued up for the Wickerman at 8:55AM. Despite being in the morning, I literally queued up for 1:03 hours (9:58AM). However all day, up to around 7pm, it was over a 100min queue.
@@RY-d3R That's a long wait! Especially for a weekday! If you check out our Alton Towers Opening Day 2022 vlog, we had to wait 2 hours as it was so busy 😭 it's definitely worth the wait though!
We were there the day the Wickerman was first opened properly to the public, joined the queue at 4 o'clock. There were constant technical problems, one of the trains was going round half full, one was going round empty. Visit when it's pi...ng with rain. Go prepared, with dry clothes for the end of the day. You need to get into the right mindset but once you're wet you're wet. I have been on a summer weekend when the queues for most rides were literally zero. Coasters often ride better when it's wet also. The helix on Nemesis was insanely intense in the afternoon when the wheels were wet AND warm.
The few times that being disabled pays off. The ride access pass system works really well without being unfair to those who are queuing. Some staff need training tho I was effectively assaulted on nemesis when the operator repeated slammed the harness down on me leaving me bruised. Had a lovely time too. Pay £7.50 for a locker & you can move the locker around the park with you
Went Alton Towers on Monday 16th May. The longest wait we had for a ride was 10 minutes for Galactica. Was great being able to just take our time around the park and the weather wasn't terrible either it only rained whilst we was having lunch the rest of the day was a mix of overcast and sunny.
Last year I visited Alton Towers for the first time, and me and my freinds decided to check out Air (which was closed at that time), so we decided to go to Nemesis instead. 0 queue time and we hopped on next ride straight away, so 2 rides with no waiting time :D It was super early in the morning tho.
spot on! one of the few videos that give proper suggestions. you mentioned spring, i usually go there in october, the weeks before the scarefest and yes, queue times are short, you feel like it's a long q if you have waited 15 minutes.
These days, Alton Towers for me is a full day in CBeebies Land with my 2 year old :D, so the once in a blue moon times we go without the little one, we make the most of it and just get platinum fast track tickets. Can usually get on all the big rides like 4 or 5 times each. Top tip for that is double/triple up on one ride to reduce walking time. No point going on it just the once then moving on if you know you’re coming back to it again later.
Fast tracks are definitely a good option if you don't visit the park much or don't go often for the rides, getting platinum is always the best so there's no waiting at all! And that's a very good tip, especially with the park being so big it saves all the walking!
i went on the smiler back in 2018 expecting a 40 minute wait because that was what it said. the ride had some sort of malfunction and we had to wait for about another hour in a room with strobe lights and loud hysterical laughing. fortunately my dad was able to cover my eyes since i was quite young but still a horrible and overwhelming experience. the actual ride was great and so were the rest though!
Oh no! That doesn't sound like a fun queuing experience! I can imagine being stuck in that room would be a nightmare! Glad you enjoyed the ride though and enjoyed all the other coasters in the park!
I had to wait an extra 30 minutes because someone dropped their damn hat on the netting whilst riding but I feel so bad for younger you that must’ve been horrible especially with the bright lights. I was in the queue in there for about 40 minutes. I saw a kid who had epilepsy almost having to leave the room because of the flashes
The Wicker Man was very creepy and I liked it a lot, would recommend. I didn’t ride the Smiler but my sibling and parent went on it (and went on the single queue thingy, got on in about 1 minute btw) I’ve been told it was great. Also buy candy floss if you like it because it is quite good there. The first ride I went on was Spinball Whizzer first and it was a good space between a fast and exciting ride and a slower and calm ride so would recommend that one first if you would like to try it. Congo River Rapids is pretty cool too. Don’t worry about bringing spare clothes since the majority of the seats have a few sprays here and there but I was basically completely dry when I got off. However there was one seat that got particularly wet and splashed and I believe that was second to the right? Just a suggestion.
The Wicker Man and The Smiler are both great coasters! Never tried the candy floss before but will definitely have to try it! Great tips 🙂 thanks for watching!
If a ride closes because of high winds, queue up for a bit, the ride operators will wait 10 minutes if they get no alarms and you can get on quickly, thats what I did for the smiler and I was the first on, worth the 45 minute wait though, they wait 30 minutes if they get an alarm within the 10 minutes btw.
Good tips..if you can get to the park before the gates open you can get down and be one of the first on wickerman you can be on and off this be 10.10am and then head to dark forest and do Rita &13 with next to no que then ride hex if still before 11am and when sky ride opens at 11am take that to forbidden valley and ride galactica and nemisis with min ques also you can then head to x sector and have a ride on oblivion and single ride smiler all before 12.30 😉alton towers big coasters all completed before lunch even on the Busiest day of the year.
For this to work👆 make sure at park for gates open about 9.15am head down to wicker man be first in its que so your on first train of the day hope no big rides brake down in morning as this can shift the crowds and mess up the flow of this but most days this works
We got to Smiler and Sector X at about 11 last Tuesday (19/4) and it was the quietest moment for the Smiler. From lunchtime to the end of the day, the queue for Smiler didn’t drop below 100mins. Oblivion was pretty quiet the whole day. Pinball Wizard and Rita were surprisingly busy.
We were there last Tuesday too, I think the Smiler was down at the start of the day and then opened around the time you were at X-Sector, so you caught it at a perfect time! was quite a busy day!
@@attractionsbeyond Ah yes. It was on and off. When we first got there, people were queueing but it wasn’t moving around. By the time my sister and brother had done Oblivion, it was doing some test runs and we saw the first few passengers. We ended up buying queue jumps for them both because I was using my disabled ride access pass but can’t cope with the inversions and g-forces on Smiler. Was pretty busy all day. We got on Wickerman twice, Pinball twice, they did Oblivion three times, Nemesis twice and we managed Galactica too. Very lucky with the weather - all weekend it was 70%+ rain all day but changed to 0% that morning.
thank you for this video! I've went one time before with my family but we weren't very prepared, we had heavy bags and not much drinks or food so alot of money was spent. we did have the fast track pass though so that made the day alot better, but we're going again when it opens up again and in summer with some freinds. I have been looking for videos like this so I know how to go prepared, so thanks so much! I'm gonna start going more often as my family have the merlin pass and my parents get in as carers so we don't spend much money going in so I'm hoping to go more often
No problem at all, so glad you enjoyed the video and glad it'll help you for when you next visit! Especially if you're visiting in summer, it's the best time to use these tips! Thank you for watching and hope you have a great trip to the park this year 😀
@@jamesgledhill9667 i didnt have the pass but i was there today and there was honestly no queue at all, people with a pass could walk right up through the gate and to the ride!
Went June 15th (Wednesday) and it was so quiet for a summer month! Longest wait was about 15 mins! Went on the smiler so many times I made myself so dizzy haha
There’s an Alton Tower App that tells you the waiting times on the rides. We went on a lot of different rides with minimal waits. When it rained a few times we went into Justin’s House or we queued for the Gangsta Granny which was indoors and ate our wraps and sandwiches while we were waiting.
Honestly, i always do wickerman first, if youre in the gates by 10 past opening its never been above 20 mins (last year, went for 6 days over the course of the year)
Personally I prefer to go wickerman first for the opposite reason- if you get there quickly enough you can actually get in before most of the queue and only wait 15-30 mins, by which point forbidden valley is still quiet! I don't go to smiler until later but i find it to be a good way to miss most queues on wicker man. :)
That's true, if you can get there super early when there's no queue at all then definitely do Wicker Man/The Smiler first and then head to the others after! Great tip! 🙂
This is exactly what I did when wicker men was brand new. It would literally always have 2 - 3 hour queues, so I got there really early, got to wicker Man immediately and queues for 30min to get on
My advice- go on Rita, it's always bound to break down after an hour queuing and you'll get a free fastpass for oblivion and smiler (from my personal experience 🤣🤣)
I went to alton towers a few days ago and the queues for everything was like 5-35 mins at 10am!! (When it got to midday oblivion and the smiler went to about 40-60)
I had a quiet day,but if you arrive in the morning. Go to forbidden valley or dark forest first definitely. Rita had a very short queue (not that I use the main one,I have a disability so I had ride access) and so did Galactica
Went Monday, completed Rita twice, thirteen once, smiler once, spinball whizzer four times (no queue), Congo river rapids once, wickerman once and could have easily squeezed in two more rides!
Do you think there will be extended opening hours this year like last year. Extended opening hours are very good for getting every ride in. Last year the park was open until 8 in April which was great
Went today with school and spent 3 and a half hrs waiting in the queue for the smiler then got onto it and the seats open as soon as we r abt to go. There was an emergency stop and another hr wait for it to get fixed "your process will be delayed" every 10 minutes and we also were meant to leave at 4:15 but got to the coach at 4:50 and every1 was annoyed and teachers were worried. Only got to go on 1 ride a bit sad but still worth it 👍
you nailed it. my tips i personally follow are if you can get a hotel as you get a second day for free and all you can eat breakfast and an extra hour in the park. if you don't stay then lockers are worth it but stock up on snacks as there food is over priced. if your a bigger girl like my self I would say size 16+ test the test seats out veforr you ride because some trains are so much more narrow than others for example nemesis is very narrow and extremely uncomfortable whilst smiler or 13 are comfy. get fast track on busy days but book as far in advance as possible for cheaper.
Going on a Monday as a school trip I go at least 3 times a year and stay every year in august as it is my birthday and yes it is rly busy but it’s like a second home gotta love it ❤️❤️
went yesterday which is half term waited 2 hours for smiler got on galactica 3 times because we started there (and nemesis was closed) and did rita was a great day out but gutted i missed wickerman
yesterday I went Alton and the first ride I went on was wickerman and I waited like 30 mins to get on it it was not busy at all and that’s surprising since I went on a Saturday, also don’t spend ur money on a fast pass do it if u have the money but if ur running low don’t bc idk if it was just the day I went the waiting lines wasn’t even that long the most I waited was about 55 min.
Yeah it all depends on the day you visit, some days are busier than others, some queues can be up to two hours, it wasn't too busy this weekend however between now and the end of August it will start getting much busier, hope you had a great day at the park! 🙂🎢
Going here for the first time at the end of July midweek. Bought an advanced ticket and then used a adult goes free promotion! Bought fast track as didn't know that you could buy one day or if it would cost more! Also my partner a 6yo won't go on the bigger rides. Just wanted to make sure I get on the rides incase I'll not manage again. Only been to Blackpool, heide park and portaventura. I will keep these tips in mind though!
Awesome! Hope you have a great time! Yeah I'd definitely recommend getting the fast track in advance as they can sometimes sell out during busy periods, so at least you can guatantee you'll get on all the rides! Glad you enjoyed the video and found the tips helpful!
When I was at Alton Towers, I didn’t get food to eat Then and There, I got snacks throughout the day and drinks aswell, and kept them in my bag for just in case and for on the way home, I went with my School and I went on 7 rides in total, whereas most people in school only went on 3 or 4, They got food at lunch time, I didn’t, I just waited and was walking around, going on rides ect, I went first on smiler (bad choice, was waiting for 1 hour and 30 mins), went on the oblivion (10 min wait), went on Spinjam (no wait), Spinball Whizzer (10 min wait), Oblivion again (5 min wait), The blade (2 min Wait) and finally Funk’n’fly (no wait) so do try the tips in the video, they do actually help!
There’s offers on news papers in April it’s the Sun that there on off you collect all the codes for 9 days you can pick which day you want to go and that’s 4 tickets
I’m going in a few days for the first time so this video was super helpful thank you☺️ also I love the wee Kermit in the background, that’s made my day🖤
@@attractionsbeyond quick question, have you ever used the imagic photo pass before at the park? Deciding whether to buy it or wait and just get the pictures at the park, but not sure about prices. The photo pass costs £20 for all photos.
@@Cupidssatan Hi! Sorry for the late reply, only just seen your comment! I haven't actually used it before, did you end up using it? If so how did you find it?
when I go twice a year to alton towers i always go on the smiler, but that room with the flashing lights is PAIN when you have epilepsy, so I have to close my eyes and cover them to avoid any epileptic shock, so I bump into people lots
Alton Towers is OK, some of the attractions (such as Kongo River and The Alton Tower Dungeon) were pretty fun. It is in fact huge but not the best. When someone told me it’s amazing, they didn’t see much then and I’m not talking about Disney Theme Parks. Food also not great and very expensive. I think the best part of it is the gardens. Breath taking 😍
100%! Has some great attractions and is one of the best, but could definitely improve in some areas! I agree with you on the food, could be some better options and cheaper, love the gardens! Thanks for watching 🙂🎢
I haven’t viewed the video but here was my visit: I went on galactica (or air for all u original people) 70 min queue time, Th13teen 90 min queue time, spinball whizzer 10 minute queue time, smiler 2hr 30min queue time, funk n fly 0 min queue and spin jam 0 min queue. I was invited by my school but I could also do things like go to Edinburg, Dundee, London or mountain climbing. I was thinking that most of my friends would go and it would be fun. However, I had (and still have) a fear of rollercoasters. I was so excited for spinball because it was my first ever intense coaster. Then I went on galactica. I was scared but my friends persuaded me into it. Best. Decision. Ever. Then I went onto Th13teen and loved it. However I would be scared to go on it again. But that one was my favourite. Then I went on the smiler but almost quit before the ride started. The worst part? - we were placed at the very back of the ride (however I had a negotiation with my friends and I was on the inside as I had read somewhere that the inside was less intense however I should’ve been on the outside). I immediately knew that as soon as the lights started flickering that there was no turning back. At that point I was literally trembling (poor me) but the smiler was the best but not my favourite. However I love the story behind it. I would give my visit a 4/5
You should also make sure not to go on wickerman or smiler at the end of the day as people rush to get on before they leave i experienced that first hand.
I’m going for my birthday (hopefully lol) this year!!! I’m so excited as it’s my first proper time going! (I visited once with my school, but got abandoned so I didn’t get on much)!
They're the two most popular coasters in the park which are closest to the entrance, Spinball is still popular but isn't classed as one of the major coasters in the park, usually won't be too busy first thing in the morning 🙂
I go to school at an American school in England so we have our spring break a week before the English kids so almost every year we have gone to Alton towers with little to no queues best perk of being a military brat
The BEST thing to do is go while schools are still in! This means that it is alot more quiet than it would be! I done that and i only had to wait 5mins for the Wicker man ride!
@@attractionsbeyond thats the mistake we did we went when the English schools were out so it was rlly busy but I bumped into my friend who had fastness and let me on rides with her!
I went to Alton towers and the smiler we saw that the wait was 2hours 20 minutes I always look at the wait is so I don’t have to wait that long because my legs get tired pretty quickly and I hate waiting for rides because you could be on other rides but instead yo ore waiting for a ride that could take 4 hours
Oh definitely not, it will probably be busier than usual so worth getting them if you want to skip the long queues and make the most out of your day! Hope you have a great time! 🎢
Ahh to be honest last year we started off with Wicker Man on one trip too, and there's nothing wrong with doing it first because it's in my opinion the best ride in the park! But the queue is always just a little bit longer than some of the others first thing in the morning
Hello! It might be slightly busy as there's usually a few other school trips happening around that time, but you should still be able to get on all the rides!
If its mid week during school term time then you shouldn't need to buy a fast pass, if it's a weekend or a school holiday I would consider buying one if you want to guarantee getting on every ride! I'd definitely recommend waiting until you arrive at the park to see how busy it is before buying one 🙂
Thanks Could someone in the comments tell me how the lockers work do they give you a key or something or how do You access them as if its a key couldn't it get lost or something so just wondering about that thanks
With the lockers you pay on a touch screen, you put in your date of birth and it'll show you a picture of an animal, you have to take note of the animal it shows you, then it'll show you the locker number which is open for you, whenever you want to go back to the locker just enter your locker number, date of birth and select the animal it showed you and it'll reopen your locker 🙂 hope that made sense!
It's not impossible because I went two days ago, one of the hottest days again 33 degrees and we go on literally every ride except the retro ones cos there boring lol we had a accses pass as well so straight to the front loved it. Amazing place!
Hi, great tips! Will there by any significant change to the dynamic of the whole experience due to any coronavirus safety measures and rules put in place? any comment on that?
Thank you! I've visited a couple times this year so far without the restrictions, the operations are much better on all of the rides now that they don't have to clean the trains each time and only let a certain amount of guests on each train, so overall you're more likely to get on more rides and have shorter wait times, which makes a much more enjoyable day!
@@attractionsbeyond i had an amazing day and i went on all of the big ones appart from rita and thirteen because it was closed down but i hated oblivion because it just went straight down lol. Galactica was my favourite but it wouldve been smiler if he hadnt waited an hour and had tired legs :)
My tips. Take your own food the food there is expensive. When you go in go left or right and follow the park round to save criss crossing the park and waisting time Do not go on a windy day. Alot of rides will be closed

No worries! Glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! July is usually the month schools visit as it's just before the Summer holidays, however it shouldn't be as busy as August, weekends will be a little busier than weekdays
How busy is it in late June? Hoping to avoid the school visitors after my son finishes his exams but am guessing a lot of others will have the same idea!

That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Went the other Thursday 28/4, longest queue was 5 minutes. Did every coaster twice, it was crazy.
Awesome! Sounds like a great day!!
U went exactly a day after me
Good tips..if you can get to the park before the gates open you can get down and be one of the first on wickerman you can be on and off this be 10.10am and then head to dark forest and do Rita &13 with next to no que then ride hex if still before 11am and when sky ride opens at 11am take that to forbidden valley and ride galactica and nemisis with min ques also you can then head to x sector and have a ride on oblivion and single ride smiler all before 12.30 😉alton towers big coasters all completed before lunch even on the Busiest day of the year.
For this to work👆 make sure at park for gates open about 9.15am head down to wicker man be first in its que so your on first train of the day hope no big rides brake down in morning as this can shift the crowds and mess up the flow of this but most days this works
These are great tips! Perfect way to skip those big queues!
Thank you for watching and hope you have a great trip to the park this year 😀
How long were the ques for fast track. Thanks.
Amazing! Glad you had a great day and had lots of Smiler rides! We went the following day and it was quiet then too!
There’s an Alton Tower App that tells you the waiting times on the rides. We went on a lot of different rides with minimal waits. When it rained a few times we went into Justin’s House or we queued for the Gangsta Granny which was indoors and ate our wraps and sandwiches while we were waiting.
Honestly, i always do wickerman first, if youre in the gates by 10 past opening its never been above 20 mins (last year, went for 6 days over the course of the year)
Very true! If you can get there for when the park opens its a good idea to get it done at the start of the day!
It would literally always have 2 - 3 hour queues, so I got there really early, got to wicker Man immediately and queues for 30min to get on
Thx for this. I'm going to altern towers for the first time in April. For a freinds birthday 🎂 🥳
Awesome! Have fun!
@@attractionsbeyond thanks!
My advice- go on Rita, it's always bound to break down after an hour queuing and you'll get a free fastpass for oblivion and smiler (from my personal experience 🤣🤣)
galactica always breaks down and no one gets fastpass from it
Haha yeah I think that coaster had broken down every time I've visited! So good tip 😂
The intamin accelerators always break down! Its exactly the same with stealth at Thorpe Park
I went to alton towers a few days ago and the queues for everything was like 5-35 mins at 10am!!
(When it got to midday oblivion and the smiler went to about 40-60)
I do recommend going on school days as you get on more rides (if you can) it’s so much quieter.
I had a quiet day,but if you arrive in the morning. Go to forbidden valley or dark forest first definitely. Rita had a very short queue (not that I use the main one,I have a disability so I had ride access) and so did Galactica
Glad to hear you had a great day! 🎢
Went Monday, completed Rita twice, thirteen once, smiler once, spinball whizzer four times (no queue), Congo river rapids once, wickerman once and could have easily squeezed in two more rides!
Amazing! Glad you had a great day!
I'm going to alton towers in spring with my parents, thanks for the advice
Awesome! Have a great time! 🎢
Do you think there will be extended opening hours this year like last year. Extended opening hours are very good for getting every ride in. Last year the park was open until 8 in April which was great
I really hope so, the 10-4 hours are way to short! It would be good to see them open a little bit longer again, even if it's an extra hour or two!
@@attractionsbeyond Yes it’s definitely needed either a 7 or 8 closing
100% agree!
Scarefest is open til 9pm 👍
I'm about to ho tomorrow with my friends at school. Really pays off the hard work from year 8 I've done this year
Hope you had a great time!
I did
It was crazy
Wickerman was sic and my teacher did oblivion but I was too scared😄
Always visit during the week. Walk on or very short queue times for virtually everything.
im going with school in like an hour so im watching this to prepare!!! ty!!
Awesome! Have a great day! Glad the video has helped! 🎢
Ahh yes The Smiler's single rider queue. The queue i found out about after THREE HOURS queuing in the normal queue 🙃
Oh no! Haha! At least you know for next time I guess!
Only got to go on 1 ride a bit sad but still worth it 👍
Wooow! 3 and a half hours?! That's a super long wait 😭 Glad you managed to get on it in the end though! Hope you still had a great day 🎢
you nailed it. my tips i personally follow are if you can get a hotel as you get a second day for free and all you can eat breakfast and an extra hour in the park. if you don't stay then lockers are worth it but stock up on snacks as there food is over priced. if your a bigger girl like my self I would say size 16+ test the test seats out veforr you ride because some trains are so much more narrow than others for example nemesis is very narrow and extremely uncomfortable whilst smiler or 13 are comfy. get fast track on busy days but book as far in advance as possible for cheaper.
Thank you! And ahh these are great tips! Didn't know that about the extra hour in the park! 😮
I went to Alton towers April 2022 and at like 4:30 and smiler and oblivion was 0 mins crazy.
Ahh amazing! Glad you had a great day!
That's what we did when I went to Alton Towers with work last month
Wickerman hadn't opened when we got in the queue.
If you are wanting to stop overnight i usually book a hotel nearby which will work out a lot cheaper :)
Great tip!
Or live nearby 😉
Going on a Monday as a school trip I go at least 3 times a year and stay every year in august as it is my birthday and yes it is rly busy but it’s like a second home gotta love it ❤️❤️
Amazing! Hope you have a great time! 🎢 Gotta love those Summer park days! ☀️
went yesterday which is half term waited 2 hours for smiler got on galactica 3 times because we started there (and nemesis was closed) and did rita was a great day out but gutted i missed wickerman
Awesome! Glad you had a great day! 🎢
WICKERMAN IS SO GOOD UGH
I personally would recommend going to spinball whizzer first!! Its not too intense but it's not too not intense!
Yeah that's definitely an option! Great ride! 🎢
is there anywere to put your bags on the cosater and if so how would i do it?
You can't take them on the coasters, however each station has a baggage hold so you put your bags in there before you board the ride
@@attractionsbeyond thanks
yesterday I went Alton and the first ride I went on was wickerman and I waited like 30 mins to get on it it was not busy at all and that’s surprising since I went on a Saturday, also don’t spend ur money on a fast pass do it if u have the money but if ur running low don’t bc idk if it was just the day I went the waiting lines wasn’t even that long the most I waited was about 55 min.
Amazing! So glad the tips helped and happy to hear that you got on lots of rides!! 🎢
There’s offers on news papers in April it’s the Sun that there on off you collect all the codes for 9 days you can pick which day you want to go and that’s 4 tickets
I remember doing this once before getting my annual pass, such a great offer!
What you said in this video was really inspiring because the people that have not been at Alton towers have bacically a warning
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful! 😀

I can imagine that room is terrible with epilepsy, there should be an alternate queue, must be a nightmare!
Very true! Great tip!
Would you recomened a weekday in October now that best water ride is gone (the flume, so you don't need sunshine anymore)
Yeah definitely! School holidays are over so it should be quiet on week days
Start my job there as a ride on the 21st of February
Amazing! Any ride in particular? Will look out for you!
Just got back from a trip here. I made every single mistake listed in this video. 😂 Still had a great time, though!
Haha! Glad you had a great time!! 🎢
I’m going for my birthday (hopefully lol) this year!!! I’m so excited as it’s my first proper time going! (I visited once with my school, but got abandoned so I didn’t get on much)!
Awesome! I hope you have the best time and get to ride all the coasters! 🎢
Smiler and wicker man closest to entrance have you met spinball whizzer
They're the two most popular coasters in the park which are closest to the entrance, Spinball is still popular but isn't classed as one of the major coasters in the park, usually won't be too busy first thing in the morning 🙂
Smiler and wicker man is true. I went straight to Rita and did that twice along with thirteen within the first hour
Going there today so I am excited like a small child, I’m 39 next week 😂
Awesome!! Hope you've had a great day! 🎢
I go to school at an American school in England so we have our spring break a week before the English kids so almost every year we have gone to Alton towers with little to no queues best perk of being a military brat
Ahh that's awesome! Best time to take advantage of those short queues!
The BEST thing to do is go while schools are still in! This means that it is alot more quiet than it would be! I done that and i only had to wait 5mins for the Wicker man ride!
100%! Always guaranteed to get on lots of rides!
Oh wow, that's a super long wait! Yeah agreed, could get on plenty other rides in that time! 🎢
I'm going in a week, my mum got the fast passes considering it's on the weekend AND in the summer holidays, was this a mistake getting the passes?
Oh definitely not, it will probably be busier than usual so worth getting them if you want to skip the long queues and make the most out of your day! Hope you have a great time! 🎢
I'm going on Wednesday(tomorrow for me) as a school trip
Hope you had a great day! 🎢
I went too! What was ur fav thing since its today?
I went on th13teen (it was awesomeee!)
I went in wickerman first the last time I went there
Ahh to be honest last year we started off with Wicker Man on one trip too, and there's nothing wrong with doing it first because it's in my opinion the best ride in the park! But the queue is always just a little bit longer than some of the others first thing in the morning
Lol I spent 1h and 30m in the line
I have a disabled pass longest I had to was 5 hours due to wickerman being new and breaking down every 5 seconds
That's super long! Queues for Wicker Man are much shorter now
Is 8:22 a ride in Alton towers?
Yes! A ride called Funk n Fly, can be found in Forbidden Valley near Galactica

Hello im going on my school trip to Alton Towers on 19th July on a weekday will it be busy
Hello! It might be slightly busy as there's usually a few other school trips happening around that time, but you should still be able to get on all the rides!

Mid week during Mardi Gras usually isn't too busy, so you should be all good! Have a great time!
@@attractionsbeyond fingers crossed 🤞 thankyou!☺️
during school time. do you think you would need a fast past

Late June you should be okay if you visit during a week day, there's a chance there might be some school trips but it'll be much quieter than if you were to go end of July/August! Weekends will be a little busier as always
