An absolute SAINT ,,,, had the light on after cleaning the condenser and hoovering it all out ,, the float was full of sludge and fluff , and reservoir full of water and fluff
cleaned it all out , checked the switch was still clicking on the float switch ,put it all back together ,,,happy days ,,, thanks
Great video. AEG tumble dryer with intermittent squealing noise. Condensate pump under the rear cover as shown, though the AEG has a large FGAS warning label on it, which put me off at first. Single screw removes the cover without taking the sides off. Another single screw releases the top holding the simple float switch and pump. 10 minute job. Thanks

Thank you, I took the top off the pump and it was full off water, emptied it out and now it's heating up😃🍀☘️

Pls advise, why not build the condenser at the top & let the water drip down to the container at the bottom??
true.. gravity works for water as well. They just prefer adding a lot in there.. more stuffs that brake more stuffs to buy to replace.

hi please can you help me.my.hotpoint.dryer water light's coming . on saying empty water when it is already empty. the dryer comes on for a few mins then stops. can this be fixed ?
i actually have the same problem.. trying to fix it need to see if the pump still ok though.. hard to tell.. the manual says some dirty stuffs blocking the way for water to go through. Im now cleaning it.. i ll see this tomorrow but also have the feeling that i ll have to buy a new dryer..
I have a feeling its the pump, you may have a faulty pump, use a multimeter and check for ohm values across the coil, if it shows value between 20 to 50 ohms its good . otherwise if its open loop, change it to a new one . if the pump shows the right readings, check if the microswitch works by checking for continuity and if that okay, then its the main board which is faulty and not sending signal to the pump, it may be a defective connector on the board . Hope you get it fixed
