I remember first watching the video he did, where there was knocking in the background, and genuinely saying, slightly startled, "Hello, who's there?" in my bedroom at 2am.
I miss this channel so much. He is so great at producing ASMR. The microphones he makes are top notch. I really hope that he will return to it one day.
Alan died unexpectedly in his sleep(from what the family said on face book it was from natural causes) and his family deleted all of his stuff and sold most of not all of his stuff

Well shoot. I always loved watching his videos whenever nobody else could put me to sleep, and I didn't realize he deleted all of his stuff. This is super sad man. Fuggin rip. :((((
Honestly, something tells me this guy is probably a legitimate researcher, and this was him just goofing around and testing things. Either working for a university, or a company, and was potentially shut down.
I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly he was the guy who made and then sold the SR3D microphone thats now used by loads of ASMRtists
Just checked their website, and it says that they're based in the North West of the UK, so it works out
@@JustCoNa woah...you just unlocked a memory I forgot I had. I remember reading the exact information you relayed about him being the creator on one of either Frank's videos or another creator that used the microphone. Its crazy how I recall reading such a minute detail from years ago 😂
