Cake Handpainting Made Easy! Let the Evil Cake Genius show you how at www.evilcakegenius.com All of stencils come with a full picture tutorial and instructions.
We used Petal Dust mixed with cooking oil to paint! The oil based paints makes it so we can paint right over the royal icing stenciling without smearing it. You can get the colors we used here in this set: evilcakegenius.com/index.php/rosemaling-petal-dust-set.html
These stencils are very easy to use! We include photo tutorials with full instructions and were always checking emails for any user questions. You'll love using them!
hi i'm trying to find this exact stencil, i'm seeing one similar to that one but not the same one, under hand painting made easy stencils. can you please tell me what the name of this stencil is? thank you.
Hi Maris. Thanks for asking :) It's our Rosemaling design. It comes in 3 sizes, and this one is our Largest size which is 9" tall. We also sell them in a 4" and a 6" size. Here's a link: evilcakegenius.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=Rosemaling
+Kimberly Holmes We haven't tried it on ganache. If it sets up hard enough, it might be possible, but like I said, we've never tried! If you have success with it, be sure to let us know! :)
My next cake project.....awesome!
It's fondant or buttercream?
How long did you wait until you applied the pink and blue to the outlined stencil?
The Royal Icing Stenciling dries fast. We usually start painting about 5 minutes after stenciling

Yes it is! -Julia from ECG
Do you have a recipe for that consistency royal icing?
Clifford Parris Hi- We don’t, but if you watch our videos you should get a good idea of the consistency. You can contact us through our site too. 👍
What did she used? Pls tell me? Is it fondant?
The cake is covered in fondant. The stenciling is done in Royal Icing.
whoa 😮
beautiful.. what is the consistency of the royal icing you used for the stenciling? thank you
Hi, this is Erin from Evil Cake Genius. The royal should be thin when using with mesh stencils, almost the consistency of run-in sugar. Thanks!
can you do this on ganache icing?
+Kimberly Holmes We haven't tried it on ganache. If it sets up hard enough, it might be possible, but like I said, we've never tried! If you have success with it, be sure to let us know! :)
