God never ceases to amaze me when he opens the word up like he does. Years ago, my pastor’s wife used to get other peoples teachings and we would have our Bible studies around there one day. I told her I said I’d rather read right out of the Scriptures. We’ve done it ever since and it’s incredible. Many blessings take care.😊
The last half of Hebrews ch 6 transformed my understanding of the nature of Christ's redemptive work, God's promise, and my "sure and steadfast hope". So many people have a tentative and slippery hope, and that's sad.

Hebrews is about the Jewish believers, and they were being exhorted not to go back into Judaism because the unbelieving Jews we're coming and trying to wear them down to come back to the rituals etc. The writer of Hebrews was trying to show the believing Jews that Jesus is higher than Moses, and Jesus is higher than Aaron. The believing Jews were being encouraged not to go backward, but that didn't mean they would lose their salvation. They would lose their freedom and reward that they had in Christ. It's a loss of blessing rather than loss of salvation. Whom the Lord loves the Lord disciplines. Read John 10:27-29 You can't lose your salvation. Though you can lose blessings, rewards, and fellowship.
