yo i saw a foo fighters show last night at dos equis pavilion, and they were the openers. didn’t know anything about them but when they played i was in awe. unfortunately from what i could see the crowd was pretty dead, but they put on an amazing show, and now i can’t stop listening to them.
I'm trying to get to a Foos show about 10 hours away just so I can catch Nova Twins. Couldn't care less about FF (I mean, I'm sure I'll enjoy their set because they're a well-oiled machine, but their music is a little tame for my tastes), but I'll go just to see these young women do their thing
Love this new direction fender is going in. They’re showing that their more than legendary players who made them, and making way for a newer generation. Very diverse as well and this is an amazing band

Keep in mind that both the Amy Love (Guitarist) and Georgia South (Bassist) are using big array of pedal boards that allow for distortion, prompt change of tones, and additional synth sounds when playing simultaneously. I love Amy's heavy shrill sounds, which complement the different bass tones VERY well. No tracks. All live.

The production is so crazily good but the songs, the singer, the lyrics and the absence of melody are actually boring. I love the bass player and the drummer. It could have been a great band in the heritage of Skunk Anansie with a real singer and a better guitarist. She looks good but that's not enough for real musicians audience.

I’m a “real” fender fan and don’t regularly listen to anyone in that list. I prefer Cobain, Marr, Frusciante, and Mascis - all iconic Fender players. These are kids making music with guitars instead of a drum machine and a laptop. I think this is wonderful and exactly what Fender needs to do to make playing instruments cool again. Also I don’t think Fender’s demo for the Player series in these colors is aimed at middle aged people who only like music that’s 40+ years old.
