tess had me stressed this whole movie, she's so kind hearted i admire it.. but like girl not if it's continually getting you into these absurd situations
What's wrong with me that while watching this I wasn't as constantly thinking about how stupid she was as much as I've seen with other people's reactions. Guess I'd be that stupid too, haha. Like, she was trying to be a good person, trusting, and help those dudes, other human beings, not just caring about herself and her own survival. I would have had a hard time leaving after the police did nothing knowing Justin Long was still down there, too. The stupidest part I think was going down in the dungeon the first time after Keith went down bc she still didn't know if he was sus or not. But, I don't know. During a crisis you can either only think about yourself or others with you and try to help them, too, and she did the latter lol.
I honestly watched this movie and I couldn't help but ask myself. "Am I a terrible person? Cause Keith would've got left." Tess is really a better person than me.
But I also think this is good. It challenges social norms and gender inequalities, people often don't care about random men as much as they would a random women.
I felt Keith was meant to be a bigger character. They set him up so mysterious. Like, why is the sweetie having nightmares and why is he so sweet!? Seriously, him having nightmares really seemed to be setting him up to be a in depth character. I mourn Keith...RIP

the beginning of this kinda reminds me of psycho. like the way they’re just hanging out and talking and then it changes into a whole other movie. i love how it’s visibly/stylistically split into different parts too
