Great review Gareth. By heck they look good and you cant go wrong with a sausage now and then, I have never tried those and will have to give them a try
Hi Gareth, one of your German followers here. You have lived over here for some time (thank you for your service 👍), so you will understand that i find it a bit amusing when a Brit is astonished that a sausage contains 97% meat 😉 There is nothing that belongs into a sausage but meat, a bit of salt and to add regional character a few herbs! That's it! Have you ever tried Thuringia sausages? For me, the very best that can happen to a pig that has been butchered 🤣🤣
All the innuendos sound like a Carry On movie lol. Let’s Get the Sausage out, pork, meat, let’s go around the back! Kenneth Williams would be proud. Only joking. Love the content.
I live in North Yorshire about 15 minute drive from the factory its a big employer here and quality food, good to see them available in other parts of the country
Thanks for pointing these out. My husband and I are trying to clean up our diet and just told my husband to say goodbye to sausage for awhile because there is so much extra junk in them! These might be better!
These sausages would go in my Ninja air fryer. What an amazing piece of kit this is. It never ceases to amaze me what I can cook in it, and always so quick compared to a conventional oven. I cook sausages now only in the air fryer. Whether cheap sausages from Morrisons, or expensive 95% pork ones from Tesco, or Bratwurst from Lidl, they're all cooked in the air fryer in 10 minutes (180 degrees, bake/roast setting), turning once. And I use the instant thermometer to check. Stop press: Aldi now sell oven bottom muffins! I made a sausage and egg muffin for breakfast just now, using one of these and it was delicious.
We have a great sausage manufacturer in the Black Country, Gills of Bilston. I wouldn't say they are high pork content, but still a great sausage. They do an economy sausage where the skin doesn't go hard like some either, unless you burn them abit ! Great videos, you made me put some bacon on ! 73's Andy M6APJ.
I always check the pork content on sausages and usually buy these, Tesco Finest or some of the German sausages such as Bratwurst when doing a big supermarket shop. To me it's worth the little extra and they are way tastier than Richmond and other cheaply made tubes of mush. There's also a local butcher not far away that do excellent sausages too and I buy from them a lot as well if I'm not rushing round the supermarket. I usually do them in the airfryer, a quick spray of oil and 15-20 minutes at 200c depending on how dark I want the skin, turning a couple of times and they turn out perfect.
Couple of years ago I went through a phase of eating Richmond sausages. They reminded me of my youth 60 years ago and the transport caffs we went to for lunch. But then I went back to higher pork content sausages and wouldn't now look at a Richmond or equivalent if you paid me.
I tried these the first time last week when in supermarket a guy was stood by me said these are good sausages. So I took his recommendation and bought them. Well he was right they were lovely, no going back for me now x
Hi Gareth, I enjoyed Friday night's live its was a good laugh, I didn't know your a fan of Wrexham larger and a pint glass I was drinking Bootlegger larger on Friday night watching you, which is made by Wrexham larger. Cant wait for the next time you go live. I do like Heck sausages, enjoy your sausage bap and brown sauce a good combination ,catch you soon Take care
I used to buy these about 5 years ago when i was on a high protein diet. But they just lack the salty flavour of catering sausages. They may be low on meat content but that's what you associate with british sausages for the morning after a night out
Spot on, good presentation of a great sausage and served the correct way, a good dollop of brown sauce in a white roll with loads of butter! Where's the big mug of sweet tea? Keep them coming. Have you come across or tried Hendersons relish, worth a try and the subject for a future posting.
I didn’t know you served in the army! One of my best mates served in Afghanistan we were worried sick about him but he made it home. Thanks for your service. ✊🏻

Add afew rashers of bacon to the bap, we have a bottle of daddies brown sauce just for sausage and bacon baps or sangers. The ASDA Extra Special 20 Classic Pork Chipolata Sausages are our goto sausages, but as the HECK are on offer at £2.50 at ASDA as well ATM i'll add afew to the cart for this weeks order.
