Dont normally like 'death metal' type music but heard this on Zaine Lowe's show this morning and it rocks!! Much credit to the man Zaine too, the master of modern music.
@EpicWinGuise Take to the skies was definitely my favorite without a doubt, but I still love their new stuff. They're maturing and finding the sound they want to make. Who knows maybe their next album will be more old shikari. Whatever happens though they'll still be my favorite band haha.
Yeah, so far ive worked out he uses: Korg Electribe EMX-1 Launch Pad KAOSS Pad but i need to know what the synth is on the top layer because ive never heard a synth have that kind of patch before... and i love it :/
thanks, I really appreciate it. :) and now youve narrowed my search down :D I thought it said KORG on it... but yeah after you said that I had another look and it definitely says Roland... I wondered why i couldnt ind anything :D thanks again mate :)
@Battlefield2021 Wasn't Take to the skies their first album? And their EP before that was pretty damn good. Enter Shikari has always been great in my opinion, they are just growing and maturing. There's a reason they've been my favorite band for 3+ years.
@gatwick123 the fact they are doing exactly what you are saying they should scrap is why they are one of the best bands around currently. they're making the music they want, not what you want.
they are so serious because they are trying to play their song as close to the cd as possible with no mistakes, trust me its hard to do that even with your own songs :L well played Shikari!
i want someone to look at me the way Rory looks at Rou at 3:23
listen to the electric drums before the chorus, you can here a door shutting as one of the samples. Pure brilliance.
There’s a documentary on how they made the album and shows the sample of the door closing so interesting!
3:10 is definitely the best part. This is my favorite version of this song
Bloody love this version "yeah, we're all addicteeeed" :)
that was so odd and at the same time so awsome. So much energy so focused and sounding fkin brilliant live.
His lows are so good!
True Fans Loves all Enter Shikari songs...you can't keep a band from evolving
this is alot more like old shikari, love it!
The note Rou hits at 3:10 is absolutely perfect!
The only people who say they arent good live are the ones who havent seen them

BEST SONG F***ING SONG EVER
Yeah, so far ive worked out he uses:
Korg Electribe EMX-1
Launch Pad
KAOSS Pad
but i need to know what the synth is on the top layer because ive never heard a synth have that kind of patch before... and i love it :/
Amazing. They should have put 3:17 in the studio version, always hear it in my mind when listening to it.
thanks, I really appreciate it. :) and now youve narrowed my search down :D
I thought it said KORG on it... but yeah after you said that I had another look and it definitely says Roland... I wondered why i couldnt ind anything :D thanks again mate :)
ahh I'm in drum with this drum part!!!

It's Rob, he puts alot of passion into his playing, he's probably just knackered! xD
@Battlefield2021 Wasn't Take to the skies their first album? And their EP before that was pretty damn good. Enter Shikari has always been great in my opinion, they are just growing and maturing. There's a reason they've been my favorite band for 3+ years.

YOU KNOW THERES OIL IN THE ICE, YOU KNOW THERES OIL IN MY EYES YOU KNOW THERES BLOOD ON MY HANDSS !!!
The drop at 1:07 is so much better on this version.
@gatwick123 the fact they are doing exactly what you are saying they should scrap is why they are one of the best bands around currently. they're making the music they want, not what you want.
3:09 cooool
It was a performance for the radio, why would they go crazy rather than focus on how it sounds more?
Where do they go ''crazy''?
WoWmej
he is replying to people who said something about them being relatively calm. It just looks weird out of context.
oh shit didnt read sorry lol x)
3:09 I love that
sickest band out now... everything about them is sick lyrics are fucking mean, music mean. best album ever
At 2:10 there are 3 Macbooks in one shot. I want to cry.
Does anyone know what synth rou is using there? Im trying to work out his new setup...
Love YD snapback
Enter Shikari Live @ Apple Store 2011
Anyone else notice Rou's hat matching his microphone?
rob looks so pissed hahaha
Tight performance
I don't know either, I'd like to know because they are fucking SICK
they had three EP's before that :D
cool.. the sound is exactly the same even in live..
The suffer from Eargasm-itus. Its highly contagious. I just had a case of it then.
You can see Rory looking at him like 'WTF, did that just happen?'
they are so serious because they are trying to play their song as close to the cd as possible with no mistakes, trust me its hard to do that even with your own songs :L well played Shikari!
@Matxxx1 It was =)
LEEDS 2012!!
Rou's high bit at 3:12 hahaha
It's weird seeing them quite still and no one around them fucking shit up
personally I think this version is better than the album one
3.09 is fucking hillarious
Finally..... No pausing.
His screams have got to much better
