In my experience as a foreigner I’ve found the solar return with the original birth place is less accurate for me. I’ll keep an eye open to see if there’s practical truth in what you’ve said. But my real life experience as a foreigner is guiding me to use my current location.
I agree with you. I was born in TX but now reside in AZ & using my current location lines up with my annual profection year & whats going on for me rn.
2022 was my 12th house profection year and my SR had a 12h stellium with sun, Pluto and Venus retrograde. It was one of the toughest years of my life. Cheating, betrayal, you name it. But all that pain brought me to where I am supposed to be. Just to say that SR are very much real!

I've had many solar return stelliums in my life, 9th house stellium was the best , I traveled internationally with jupiter in the 9th house stellium, I currently have a 12th house stellium with jupiter venus sun mercury and Uranus and my solar return ascendant conjunct natal sun with solar return venus started in May, so far nothing but stress I hope stress won't be the theme for this year
I’m night born & my Solar returns are always spot on. The sun even rules the 12th house and my Solar returns still map out my year ahead really well. Maybe because my Sag Sun conjuncts my chart ruler and Cap moon.
side note; if a birth time is known a placidus chart is always more accurate as far as the personal perspective goes. A whole sign chart points to generalizations and how events appear to the outside world 👍

My Venus in Virgo is also returning to original placement. Plus, my north and south nodes are conjunct my natal nodal returns Aries NN & Libra SN.

I just looked up my own solar return chart, and my ascendant and descendant have almost exactly switched! 5th house/Cap stellium for the coming year, and Mars and Mercury returns within 3-4 days after my birthday! Also, I have Venus square Neptune natally, and this year, it's still square but the signs have reversed. Astrology is so interesting!

I've never lived in the place I was born, and I carry no cultures from there. And I've moved around a lot while growing up. So, I find that even if we don't want to absorb a new culture, we subconsciously/unconsciously always do. And I also believe that the place you are currently, is no accident by the soul. (Just my preference) 🌞

I got fired from my job by my toxic manager a little over a month before my birthday. Entered this solar return unemployed and living off of unemployment income. Nothing is working out in my career or financially. I’m going to have my second season of long-term unemployment in a few months if I can’t land a job. Really stressed because I have no stability and have low self-esteem because no one is interested in hiring me. I’m trying to change industries for similar roles. In my Solar Return this year, I have Solar Return Sun in my SR 8th house and conjunct SR Jupiter. It is opposite my SR moon in 2nd house. My ascendant is in 11th house Virgo and the SR chart ruler is in SR 9H conjunct my natal South Node in 7H and conjunct SR North Node. So I had my solar return during my nodal reversal. My SR MC is in my natal 8th house in Gemini. SR moon square my natal 3H Neptune. Transit Chiron is conjunct my Sun. The Sun is my 10H ruler. Ever since Chiron has been there, I have been very stagnant in my career. Nothing ever works out.
@taetae2808 try going to a different location for your half birthday so you have the challenging aspects or planets in different areas. Talk to an astrologer and see how your original Solar return in a new place works out. People don’t know this but you can actually change the themes of the year by changing your Solar return chart at your half birthday. So if your born in January 1st go to a different location for June 1st. It should be more than 250 miles away from where your last return was for a change. I’m hoping and praying for a good outcome for you and a prosperous new opportunity for you!

How has that worked for you?. I'm also 6-17 & my moon also conjuncted the 10-14 eclipse. Both were in 11th house. I haven't seen any change so far.

why mc was not on the 10th house?
So question...my birthday is october 10, and in 2022 the full moon was on October 9. Was I still reaping the benefits of the full moon?
The only thing I have ever found accurate in solar returns is the sun moon aspects to each other. Never found much else accurate.

You can look at just the Solar Return chart or you can look at the Natal and Solar Return chart, it just depends on the software you are using.
