We recently sat down with Sleepy Hallow for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about being born in Jamaica, moving to New York when he was 5, the way of life & culture in Flatbush, his childhood, always being creative, jumping off the porch when he was 15, finding his love for music, his musical influences, going to the studio for the first time with Sheff G, explains how he first met Sheff, explains why he doesn’t consider himself a drill rapper, not expecting “Deep End Freestyle” to blow up like it did, interacting with his fans, laughing at internet trolls, his new album ‘Boy Meets World’, recording the album when he came home, his mindset while he was locked up, having writer’s block when he came home, his music being therapy to him, the importance of the color to purple, having 2 features with Marshmellow on the album, passing up on the offer to be featured on the XXL Freshman cover, reveals one of the biggest life lessons he has learned, and much more!
