It would be the latter. If he has to defend that it's NOT abuse, Newsflash, it's abuse. After I saw that comment I'd honestly see if there was any way to report it to authorities. Cause if he has a woman in his life, I'm sure he abuses her.

Nah, there are some cases where "physical discipline" is required, people just aren't using it right.
If you've never had a 4-year old "dying of exhaustion" because they've been asked to clean their room, you cannot fully understand how physical enforcing basic discipline can be. Teaching discipline requires more than just talk, but getting physical shouldn't mean getting angry, getting violent or causing pain. It should mean being a physical, real-life example of the behaviours you are trying to teach - supporting the exhausted kid to get their task done and following through with the things your 4-year old sees you avoid because they are exhausting.

No, you choose that your example will be cleaning toys. You would cause pain to your child for something as simple and not urgent as cleaning.
I beg you, keep yourself away from kids. And go to therapy.

Funny how children are also taught to keep their hands to themselves while adults apparently have no issue. All you're teaching them is that when I'm big enough I can hurt people too. Adults should keep the "keep your hands to yourself" thing very much in the front of your mind. You are a big, intimidating presence towering over a tiny child and then inflicting pain. Can you bot understand how terrifying that is? Specifically with something that's brain is still developing?

Sadly, some men do internalize their own patriarchal bullshit, and do believe that they deserve to be abused by their superiors for the sake of maintaining the all important hierarchy. If you're being abused, you can contrive a belief that it's justified, and that the abuse you inflict is justified in turn. This line of thinking should not be perpetuated.

Ill say it once and again again again until its drilled so deeply into people heads that it becomes common knowledge
    Corporal punishment is not effective.
Actually only people from that time period of the song could say so without scientific impunity (meaning they deffo still could have been argued with) because a lot of the research on it was done in the 70s.
You know how hard it is to find modern scientific study on corporal punishment as discipline in western nations? Really flocking hard. Because we learned that shit was bad DECADES (at least 5) ago.

Nope, they have the same rights, woman just have more equal rights now.
To put it simply, imagine you're a child, and every day your mother gives you a cookie, and gives your sister 0 cookies. One day she takes ur cookie, and splits it in half. Even though you're both equal, you feel like you've lost something.

Still love the old music, at least they stuck with their wives. Most cant even stay with one guy nowdays so the music reflects it. Find it funny that the songs about women are bad but the men it's okay. It's almost as if one gender can take a joke and the other can't

Divorce in that day was basically a death sentence for the wife and husbands could lobotomize their wives if they found out about his mistresses.

Or maybe now that women can do things like open their own bank account, buy their own property, and work any job they want, men have to actually be worth keeping around to be kept around, and some men *really* struggle with that level of not-sucking. Though if you think men are better at "taking a joke," you've never made a joke that actually called out a man in public. Like little children, lots of men get violent when their widdle feelings get too ouchy, just like Jack Ass over here.

@@ariwoodshany4308 and that in no way shape or form is like the multiple baby daddy having mothers that bounce from guy to guy. At least they knew who their father was unlike most kids today being raised in divorces or by single parents aka grandparents raised them. Basically as a guy i can admit I'm trash funny how women cant though they are always strong and independent surving the best they can lmao. Accountability is something women didn't want when they wanted equality, still like to blame men.

What happens when the kid becomes so rotten because nothing is working. And you get in trouble for thier actions because your thier parent.

Easy answer: don't have kids. I sincerely hope you don't have any kids because I'd feel really sorry for them. Children are a product of their environment, so if you have a child with some problems, my first guess would be it's because of you.

It’s wasn’t about parenting, it was about this person thinking husbands are allowed to “physically discipline” their wives.
(If this isn’t what you were confused on, sorry Lol)

@@HunterNoceda-sg2cgno it's not. The parents can teach all they want. But it is purely up to the kid to decide. You cannot control everything about someone, and if you try they're just going to end up traumatized and retaliate even more
