People criticize the G310GS for soft suspension, but it's not a motocross bike. The soft suspension is perfect for paved roads, gravel roads, dirt roads and the mild off road that is appropriate for a bike with alloy rims. I've ridden 250 cc to 350 cc dual sport bikes since 1975. Now that I'm old, the G310GS is nearly ideal for my adventures. It needs a 20 liter fuel tank, though.
@@mikep2563 - Most of my riding has been small displacement dual sport thumpers. I don't ride hard off road now that I'm in my 60s but I keep looking at the KLX300 with great longing. My G310GS does all of the off road that I want to do, but the lighter dual sport KLX would do it more easily.
Which one you would choose between KTM 390 ADV and BMW 310 gs for long distance touring/little bit off roading ? Which one would go smoothly for 2-3 hours for cruising speed of 120-125 ?
@@spd9707 - Both are good candidates. I ride long distances (typically 300-400 miles or 500-650 km per day) but I don't ride fast on interstate highways, but I have ridden the G310GS on a two hour trip on the highway at 70 MPH (110 KPH). For this type of faster riding, the 390 Adventure should be a little better. KTM is not known for reliability or durability but I'm not sure that's an issue with the 390 Adventure. It's not as "Race Ready" (KTM trademark) as their other bikes. The 390 Adventure and G310GS are both built in India and I believe the build quality on both is good. KTM switched to spoke wheels on the later 390 Adventure models which would have been an improvement (from my perspective) by making the wheels stronger, but the alloy rims are tubeless and the spoke wheels on the 390 Adventure require tubes, which I hate. To me, that was a move in the wrong direction. If I had a spoke wheel 390 Adventure, I'd modify the rims at the first tire change to be tubeless rims. There are instruction videos on UA-cam. I've been very happy with my G310GS. I've had it for 3.5 years so far, and have done nothing but routine maintenance, which I've done myself. It's been fun and reliable.

Don't call this a test. I understand what you are trying to show, but a 10 sec clip at that speed of riding over just an average patch of offroad does not make it "best". This makes you appear less reliable .
Yes. Again, this is about this particular UA-cam short of yours. In your caption you can mention something like ‘see vlog to see the full review’ Right now your short says “best” and what you show doesn’t illustrate anything about it being “best” especially in the grand scheme of off-roading.
