But Festivals have Employees to pay, Food services to pay, Drink Services to pay, entertainment cost, Power/fuel cost, Taxes, Insurance costs, Hiring of Security/Police Officers. Cost of Cleanup which usually is not known Until the END of the event(s), Then and only then Festivals might know how much they make for profit wise. Which is usually not that much. Maybe 5 to 10% of Total of everything. Say the Festival made $100,000 The Festival after everything is paid off Might have only made. $5,000 to $10,000 profit. Which is 95% of the time Reinvested into the next Festival.
It is simply the dust that sucks up the ground, since it does not filter very small elements and throws them into the air, the machine itself does not give off any type of smoke ...
That was not exhaust, but the dust/soil from beneath the grass. It was summer, so the earth is more exposed and has been pulverised by the crowds feet.
