    I have a tall perennial native asters similar to boneset that no one can identify. It blooms in September attracting a huge spectrum of insects.

    16 or more here, too…and always adding more! I removed our Japanese Maple and sadly our city’s tree ordinance lists Norway Maple as a replacement tree if a tree is cut down.

    Callers pear is all over Chicago and it’s spreading. It’s such a bad tree.

    Maybe the proper way to say non natives..is to say introduced ..not necessarily invasive.. because it places shame. But I think we should be pro native.. but if our garden is 90% native we should allow some
