Excellent teaching! When you read “waves passing over me…” I immediately went back in my memory to surfing as a kid. We had to learn how to “duck dive” to avoid large wave from falling on us and doing great harm. I would dive through the base of the wave and the water would pass over me and I would ascend to the top of the water. I had to be prostrated in order for the dangerous waves to pass over me! Prayer and prostration “a sign of respect and humility and utter dependence” is the key.

Wow, I hadn't thought of surfing during the teachings, but that would certainly describe the feeling expressed by the writer!
