That new Renault 5 Turbo 3E is one of the best things to come out of Renault since the new updated version of the Alpine A110. Hopefully Renault builds that thing in the guise that you show here. Spectacular automobile that any car enthusiast would be proud to own. Hopefully Renault sees that there is definitely a place in the world for that car and they don't skimp out and they put quality materials and a high revving engine with a high amount of torgue too, with a nice wide stance, and sporty, bright color choices for the paint. Make it a legend like their older hot hatches they used to make years ago. Make it a car that everyone wants to buy, but only a few will. Make the interior brightly colored, unique, and quirky! That would be an awesome machine that I would love to own. And that Ionic 6-N looks pretty good two. I love the color scheme in that light blue with orange accents that Hyundai uses on those N versions of their automobiles. Sort of reminds me of the Gulf livery colors from racing. Very nice touch. Hyundai has come a long way since they first came to the USA years ago. A long way, although I personally love the styling of their sister brand KIA better myself. They just look better, even though they are the same underpinnings. The Hyundai Palisades and KIA Telluride look almost identical when you pass by them both on the street. 🟥🟥🟥Whatever that prototype is that is shown alongside the Hyundai Ionic 6 shown at 4:36 that looks like the front end of a new Dodge Challenger should be the car that Hyundai engineers, designers, and executives are concentrating on for the USA market at least. That prototype, whatever it is, is absolutely stunning! A two door hot hatch that could be the crowning achievement of Hyundai if they put the right resources into it. Make it a hybrid with a turbo or supercharged six cylinder in it boosted by either supercharging or twin turbo's and they would have one hell of a hot hatch platform on their hands that could rival the likes of many a predecessor cars like that such as the previously mentioned Renault 5 Turbo, a Honda Civic SI, a Nissan Z, or even Toyota Supra. And if it was done correctly and with some passion, they could easily surpass those models in performance putting the competitor companies on notice that Hyundai is a top vehicle manufacturer who makes sporty, engaging, and more importantly, QUALITY automobiles. It looks better than any Hyundai I have ever seen before and the styling brings back a little of the GT car vibe back in the 70's and 80's when Nissan, Toyota, and other cars had more of a GT or hatchback style layout rather than the quirky appearance of the current Hyundai.🟥🟥🟥The new Hyundai's, especially the Ionic, just doesn't look appealing to me anyway. But that car shown next to the Ionic 6-N could be a HALO car for Hyundai if they put the right engineering, engine design, and materials into it. That's the style they should have been working on before all these quirky designs they are releasing now days. Granted, they sell a lot of electric cars here in the USA due to how cheap they are compared to the other electrified options. I see a ton of the electric model Ionic's here in Colorado! Those things are everywhere. In Colorado, most people drive one of three vehicles, A Jeep, A Subaru, or an electric car (Tesla, Rivian, Honda Prologue, Jeep electrified models, and of course the Hyundai Ionic models). That's what makes up about 75% of the cars you see here in Colorado due to having to have a 4-wheel drive of some type due to the extreme weather and rapid elevation changes depending on where you are driving in the state. That Lotus Emira Turbo SE speaks for itself. That car is any car enthusiasts dream car! Not sure i'm happy that it will be a four cylinder turbo. That car needs to be a six, all day long. Twin turbo a small six cylinder Lotus, then you would have a car worthy of the SE moniker. The MST Escort Mk 1 is a cool little retro rocket. I love that battleship gray colored one they showed in the video. And that bespoke interior also looked really good. WOW, that car looked very cool. I would love to own one of those over here in the USA. You don't see those cars over here so it would be the talk of the town so to speak and definitely would be a big hit at any cruise in, cars and coffee, or any type of car meet and would no doubt garner a not of interest and conversation. Again, you just don't ever see those here in the USA at all. I have never seen one here although i'm sure they are around someplace with the import allowance after 25 years so it is well after the required time limit after a foreign car is manufactured. I would love to have one of those incredible little machines. Especially if it had a ton of horsepower. It would be the ultimate sleeper car. The Alpine A110-R Ultime was a stunning achievement and one car I would absolutely love to own one day. I wish I lived in Europe so I could purchase one of those incredible automobiles. That 110 is my favorite European car and the one I would like to own the most of the European models not available here in the USA. I wish Alpine would come back to the USA, even if it was in small numbers. That A110 would sell like HOT CAKES over here in the USA! They would be an instant sell out. I dare say, the US market would far surpass the European market when it comes to sales of the A110. We have far more people and many have the means to be able to afford the A110. You see a lot of Porsche here in the USA. More than you see in Europe! Which is crazy but Americans love their Porsches, no matter what the model is. I think the USA is Porsche's biggest market outside of Europe so bringing the Alpine A110 over here to the USA would be a great sales move for Renault/Alpine. Maybe they can't meet the stringent US specifications placed on new automobiles and the testing involved through our National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) who regulate to the smallest detail what a car MUST have on it, along with stringent crash testing it must pass in order to be approved for sale on the US auto market. Even so, you would think the A110 would meet all of those specifications and Renault/Alpine would make a deal with some of the local automotive car dealers in order to distribute their A110 over here in the good ole' US of A. Use a high end dealer such as Porsche, Mercedes, Lexus, or whomever they could make a distribution deal with and provide that distributor with lucrative sales returns and they would have a good sales market here in North America. That car would be an instant hit here in the USA if the right kind of television advertising and magazine marketing to promote and introduce the car here since we haven't had Renault/Alpine here in the USA for a long long time. Of course, car enthusiasts would already know what it is and many would no doubt be squealing their tires and making so many quarter mile time records from traffic light to traffic light on their way to the dealership to either make their purchase of their own A110 or place their order for their bespoke Alpine A110. Even better for future sales if Alpine ever did come to the USA is for them to design a cool looking sporty SUV which is worthy of the Alpine nameplate. Something aggressive and super sporty. Not like the Porsche Macan, Cayenne, or Bentley Bentayga, or Rolls Royce Cullinan, but a true SPORTS CAR STYLE SUV! Something that immediately says "sports car" when you look at it, even though it's a SUV, now THAT would garner a lot of sales here in the USA. Americans LOVE LOVE LOVE their SUV's, which is why all the high end car manufacturers including Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati, Porsche, and most others have designed and manufactured an SUV. They sell most of them here in the USA market. Come on Renault Group or Alpine group, whomever owns Alpine, come on over the USA and let us experience your incredible cars for ourselves. We've missed you and welcome you back with open arms!!
ICE vehicles are obsolete now. EVs are far superior - cheaper to run, cheaper to service, will last longer and do more miles. EV Brakes need little maintenance as regen braking does all the work and puts energy back into the battery. Price parity has already been reached. EVs are zero emission and can be charged for free from solar panels if you have them on your roof. Charging only takes 10 seconds to plug in when you get home - then every morning you have a full tank of electrons to do a full days work. EVs like the Lucid Air can have over 500 miles of range on a single charge.

Where is a brand new MX-5 coming out for 2026 not many changes but enough for the refresh just released a model called the SS which I'm surprised they're not being sued by general motors cuz that's their name that they can't copyright since the 60s is the same meaning super sport what's the new 2025
Nice suggestion. I have seen the new Mazda MX-5 version at the latest auto show. Still, many of us deep down want more updates for this iconic car. Would you agree?
conversion of first gen MAZDA Miata (NA) 1.6 I4 2-Dr Sports Roadster (RHD) into retrofit EV is a total no no . . . a waste of money, might as well buy a small EV or opt for a simple E-MTB . . . the Alpine A110S (AEF) 1.8 Biturbo I4 2-Dr Sports Coupe (LHD) could do a dedicated rally variant mimicking Alpine's WRC heritage from the 1970s & 1980s . . .
This is where you're wrong buddy. The conversion doesn't change the weight but gives more torque. It's the ultimate source of fun. A six second electric Miata is a dream
@@automotiveterritory Rear lights on the newest one look stupid and not Mini like at all. Also they are way to big and heavy the First Gen was the best BMW Mini. Also the 1.6 i4 is just a better engine than the shit 1.5 i3.

Totally agree with yon on the Renault one!
Today we are releasing the first edition of the series dedicated to smallest performance cars. Which of these is your top pick?

I just want Toyota/Lexus from here on❤
Ok ok, the RS is nice!😎
Toyota has the MR2 replacement in the works. Raad the news!
Renault design came straight out of rocket league
That's for sure!
Lotus should bring back the Elite.
And the new RX7 with two rotary motors and a gas motor has a generator 2026 or 27
Yes, Mazda wants to bring a new compact sports car but I've read that it may be electric with rotary engines working as generators

Get ready for comments from EV haters, lol. They will come up with the craziest reasons to live in the past
That Reno is wicked. How much does it weigh?
Renault 5 would be a great car if it had a combustion engine.
I don't know if there is enough space for a sizeable engine. Maybe a turbo 3-cyl at best
@ You could get a 4 cylinder in it same as what the First Gen BMW Mini had in it.
Hopefully MST make more classics with combustion engines.
They currently make MK1 and MK2 Escorts.
Since when have medium size hatchbacks & 4 door family cars been called sports cars ? ?
Sporty cars maybe, but not sports cars ! LOL : )
What is your definition of a sports car?
50k+ for a compact? That just seems wrong, gotta pay to play I suppose
Well, it's what makes those cars so desirable (but unfortunately inaccessible for most of us).

I'd put a Hayabusa engine it.
Oh yeah! Or even two like some people did

Jesus
Evs are soulless and boring.
Comes from someone who either has not driven one or can't afford one. Facts! 😂
Next video should be upcoming suvs and crossovers
You are in luck, I already have this topic in the works. Stay tuned!
