This is one of the many films of Suraiya. She looks her best to say the least! Her style, dialogue, delivery, her costumes and her superb singing is superb indeed. Meena Kumari is equally beautiful; not to talk of Gope's unique style of presenting his comical role in this film. Was it a box office hit ? I think this is one of the films or perhaps only one film in which there is a duet sung by Suraiya herself and Lataji singing for Meena Kumari.

It's looking like real love story of Suraiya and Dev Anand.....had it would be modern times Dev and Suraiya would have been closely knited with nuptial knots forever to live happily together like Nargish and Sunil Dutt....but alas! it was 1950s n1960s society....dam fool bad lady Badshah Beghum who separated both real love birds..... leaving Suraiya to lead solitary life alone till the last day of her life...But really nobody dared to come near Suraiya except Dev Anand.......their eternal Love is still in the gallary of several fans of today......!

Arjumman says; Meena kumari is the most gracful and talented actress. I have seen her almost all the films, number of films she did was 97 films. Arjumman watched her all movies. after coming mumbai. And It was such an amazing feeling to meet Mr dev anad sahab, when she came Mumbai, she wasn't aware that he was a superstar that girls use to faint girls use to cut there wrists for him girls use to suicide for him, girls use to do Puja of his pictures. He was such a big star. once upon a time A cordinator make Arjumman meet him at bandra club Later ARJUMMAN MUGHAL met him many times at his house in bandra just becoz she liked him as person also she loved his behaviour towards her. He always cared about her. She says he was such a great Person infact he liked her as an actor as a person and sab sahab said i found a kind of magic in her. he offers her a film but as she always wore Punjabi suits in her village. She came from such place, she was not aware of city lifestyle or she did not watched much tv. it was just some months she came from village LAMBERI jammu to mumbai she was very shy to wear short cloths or bikini, due to so much expose she couldn't accept at that time. And that film was never made. But the kind of friendship she shared with him was tremendously unforgettable.
