Beautiful song.
As once noted here, there are a few errors in the translation, but one can get the point.
Do you have a better English translation for this song? I am in the work of translating various songs into my conlang.
Contributes next to absolutely nothing to the Axis war effort
Writes an absolute banger war song
Refuses to elaborate
Leaves
lost the war
has more land than before the war anyways
doesn't elaborate further
The song is about the Bulgarian contribution to the Allied war effort in the closing months of the war - after September 1944.
Bulgaria did contribute quite a lot for its size, and was very effective at countering the Yugoslav partisans which Germany failed to do
Hello, Bulgarian here, I see a few mistakes within your translation and I don't know how to say this in any way [This is my 4th time typing this] but I would like to give you the corrected version
So here goes nothin':
"Помня бойния поход суров" - "I remember the tough campain"
"Те те пазиха с твоето име, Товето Име, не погазиха твоята лубов" - "They kept you safe with your name, with your name, they didn't stamp out your love"
"Нека вечно ти ни водиш" - "Let us always be guided by you"
"В нашия свят на сияние" - "In our world of brightness"
"В рака нежно нежно" - "Holding your hand, Gently Gently"
"И пак към победния бой" - "And again to victory"
"Пие с пролетни светли салюти" - "Drink with your spring brightened salutes" [your is there because of the way the previous sentance ends]
"Светли салюти, моето жадно за песен сърце" "Bright salutes, My thirsty for a song heart"
"Твоя смърт на далеч отхумява [not "ха"]" - "And your death fades away"
"С теб виси над простора огрян" - "With you it hangs on the open fire"
"Аз жадувам за ласка и стряха" - "Im thirsty for care and a roof [over my head]"
"Ласка и стряха и за топло протегната ръка" - "Care and a roof [over my head] and for a warm extended hand"
Of corse my translation isn't 100% accurate as old songs like this one may have diffrent translations, I did my best, hope you like it, no need to fix it, Just wanted to point it out
Thank you man, when I was translating this it was just a combination of my Russian knowledge with Google’s translation so it is a bit off. But I hope to eventually redo this song in the future, with the corrected lyrics.
I think the "И пак към победния бой" part in bulgarian is "И пак към победния, ненагледния бой" It sounds like they say it in this way ngl
"I'm thirsty for care and a roof [over my head]" по скоро значението на думата стряха тук ще е дом, а не буквално покрив. "I'm thirsty for care and a home"

Thank you comrade,I have been looking for this song for a long time.
And,a suggestion,I think it's not necessary to show the national emblem during the song as it obscures the video.
absolute banger💥
That's beautiful
BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL
Thanks,im a Bulgarian, we really enjoy when people compliment our songs
Too much translation mistakes.
The point can be understood but I get irritated by the text .
This is not russian, man.
Pls pay some respect next time
This is my interpretation of some better lyrics for this song: La la la(humming) - My dear and devoted, meet me - I remember the raw journey of war - They protected your name, your name - They didn't destroy your love - They protected your name, your name - They didn't destroy your love - My beloved and dear - May you always lead us - In our world of brightness - In hand, gently, gently - And again towards the victorious, - Towards the victorious fight - La la la(humming) - We remember the heavy and spicy battles - You didn't find us a city nor a village - Drinking with the spring light of fireworks - Bright fireworks, my ''thirsty for a song'' heart - Drinking with the spring light of fireworks - Bright fireworks, my ''thirsty for a song'' heart - My beloved and dear - May you always lead us - In our world of brightness - In hand, gently, gently - And again towards the victorious, - Towards the victorious fight - La la la(humming) - your death far away - hanging with you over the vast expanse - I thirst for care and tranquillity - Care and tranquillity and for your warm, reaching hand - I thirst for care and tranquillity - Care and tranquillity and for your warm, reaching hand - My beloved and dear - May you always lead us - In our world of brightness - In hand, gently, gently - And again towards the victorious, - The victorious fight!
I am probably wrong on a few things as I was born after 1991 and don't know the Bulgarian phrases used in that time and I may have taken the translation a bit too literally but I'm sure I improved the lyrics greatly. Hope you use this if you decide to improve it! @Interkast.

Is this available on Spotify?
A bit late, but It's the first result when you search "Срещни ме". Just copy and paste it. : )

Bulgaria was never under nazi occupation :(
@@angelcomrade927 Yes but we were not nazis, as our king never raised his hand, and he saved all of our 50,000 jews. The partnership was only to regain our lost territories in Macedonia from the Serb and Greek occupiers.
@@dayanbalevski4446 People like Anton Kalchev were absolute terrorists to the people of Macedonia. So many villages and towns burned and destroyed, it was genocide for Greeks, not liberation.
