nice cars, my advice is to replace all the spark plugs, use the OEM ones, you will save yourself a lot of grief later
valve cover and oil gasket housing look like they're seeping. Overall a good deal, excited to see the progress

I literally just got back from visiting Ohio. And I am just about to purchase a silver 128i automatic so this is perfect! To further add to the irony…owning a BMW is the 2nd most wanted dream car for me. What is the first you ask? A 2004 blue Mach 1. 🤣

Mine (2013 automatic) is given me 6 km/L not sure if it is normal, but definitely it’s a great car, and I don’t have any regrets at all

That front bumper is fairly rare as are the side skirts. They’re OEM BMW Performance accessories and aren’t easy to come by.
We’re definitely seeing that with some of the parts for the car. Exploring what we’d need to do to swap to a 1m bumper or something similar.
Yeah I have never seen those skirts and bumper.

I’m currently looking at a 2008 128i with 54K miles (convertible). Do you think I’ll have costly repairs? I’m definitely looking to get a mechanic to take a look before I possibly purchase. Any advice is appreciated!

The car is great. We just uploaded our muffler delete video. Oil leaks are the main issue we’re seeing. We’ve done the valve cover gasket and some other upgrades we’ll be documenting in future videos. We have the automatic and the transmission is good for what it is. We’re looking at a possible paddle shifter upgrade. Manual transmission would really take this car to the next level though if you can find one.
