Esta rueda de prensa es muy rara, están todas incómodas y ninguna se muestra como otras veces, victoria habló más que nunca, geri no habló (algo rarisimo en ella), mel b tratando de lidiar con la incomodidad desde su lugar, a MelanieC la interrumpieron groseramente and Emma, bueno emma estaba como siempre.
Yo creo que Geri estaba mala, o de resaca o se habrían peleado antes... Porque tiene como mala cara, mal color y ojerosa y sin hablar, cuando ella es la que más destacaba en discursos

Geri was so unusually quiet and silent in this interview, she kinda looked sad too. Poor Mel C trying to speak at 01:43 lol. Mel B should have kept her mouth shut at times, she was such an attention seeker. She is one of my fave Spice Girls but truth must be said.
This was around the time that her nude modelling pictures were published in the national press, which she says knocked her confidence a bit. :(
Mel b and Geri were the leaders of the group, Geri wasn't speaking like she usually does so Mel b took up the slack...
+nala This group had no leaders. Mel B and Geri were merely the loud ones and had the strongest personalities, at times truly annoying. It doesn't mean that just because Mel C, Victoria and Emma were more "quiet" they were not leaders or were subordinated to Geri and Mel B.
The girls themselves said it multiple times that Geri or Mel B would direct them when it came to certain things, just watch the raw spice doc. I'm sure they all played at being the leader but it's just delusion to think Mel B and Geri weren't the force that propelled the group forward.
+nala It's delusion to think that in a girl or boy group there must be a leader at any cost. Spice Girls just like every other pop star had a manager that led them to conquer the world. Then they took the running of the group themselves at a certain point and each of them respectively controlled a specific aspect of the management. Some would perceive Geri and Mel B as the leaders due to their in-your-face attitude. It'd be safe to say that they were the spokesperson of the group more than leaders. If you watch their interviews they all talk and express their own points of view and the reason why Geri and Mel B talked more is because they always were in a constant need of attention, Geri was extremely verbose and Mel B incredibly loud. Notice that there was even a rivalry between the two, they "fought" over who got the attention of the audience the most. Mel B saw Mel C as a rival as well, due to Mel C being the one universally appreciated for her talent and labelled as the only talented one by the general public. All five of them propelled the group forward, they were like Backstreet Boys aka a group based on equality even though every member excells more than the others in some specific things: Melanie C (voice, talent, performing), Geri (spokesperson, slogan), Mel B (fun personality, dancing) etc.
