I remember bring in 2nd grade when this came out, back when schools told you about shows to watch at home and 📼 tapes like The Buttercream Gang you could purchase. I had a teachers aide I really liked and she was in a car accident and I remember that evening/night when this aired crying to the song In my Heart for her. She came back with a neck brace and was fine, I was so happy to see her and to know she was alright. I’ll never forget her or this movie💞
Omg I am SO happy I searched for this and someone actually has it posted on UA-cam! 😍 My sisters and I still know all the songs lol this is amazing!🥹❤️
This was one of three movies my grandma had and we watched it every time! I think it still holds up, honestly. Does anyone remember another cartoon in this era where this group of characters that slowly keep adding on to a house. They build it up level by level, each one unique and cozy. Slowly but surely it becomes a reeeeeeally tall house that wobbles under the strain. I think it eventually topples?
Thank you for preserving a piece of history for so many people, including myself.
I still remember seeing this on McDonald's Family Theater; my Dad recorded this for me - commercials and all.
I used to watch this all the time at my Grandma's house and have never heard of anybody else who knows what it is.

Hey, I didn't know this predicted Kirby and the Rainbow Curse! All jokes aside, this is criminally underrated.

I'm glad I uploaded this piece of history for you!
Now, I wonder what's that other cartoon you're talking about?
Literally, me too. My grandma had this VHS and I would watch it every time I went over to her house.
All that wonderful power and the king ruins it by being a greedy ass
