I wish this was my current issue. I also have an older graphics card, a GF GTX 980. It is just capable of running D4.
As of I think 3 days ago GeForce Experience alerted me to a new driver update being available. Trying to run said update gave me various errors. This happens now and then with N GF Experience.. I decided to not update and give it a few days before trying again.
I just did so an hour or so ago and it seemed to work. Sadly Diablo 4 will barely start now or function and locks up stuttering. It will barely load mobs and other fun issues, even worse if other players show up.
I also noticed there has been a hotfix for the current D4 Goblin Event.. but that can't cause issues like this,.. right??

Hello, i running the game on Lenovo with Ryzen 7735hs and radeon 680m and the game says that error message. Obliviusly i cant' t disable integrated graphic card, i have only 680m on my laptop.

Unfortunately, it seems there are many things that can cause this error. Just have to keep searching for the one that works for you. Prior to making the video I didn't actually find anyone suggesting this until I stumbled upon it myself. Sorry this wasn't the solution for you, but don't give up!

Can't you select what card to use in the options? Can't check got bored with the game and uninstalled.

man, it sure was weird booting up the game and seeing it run at 1/8th the normal quality I get from my computer

@@GuidingBoltGaming oh I still got the error. At first I just got an error and the game didn't work, then later when I tried playing the game I got an error and the game started anyways with shit quality.
This is such an amateur oversight lmao
