I’m thinking it’s hard to trust someone who received $100 million dollars, to say something bad about the person who gave it to them. At the end of the day kick is a business trying to make as much money as possible. Did they do something shady to make a little extra money probably, probably do it again.
Ofc sounds like TrainwreckTV attitude - he really doesn't care - i''ve seen him on twitch and his attitude towards the twitch chat was so bad. he is part owner of kick as well. if you didn't know - on a side note, he is a Jerk
To me this does make sense, even if it’s allegations. The simple fact that allows any and everything to happen on there streaming service tells me that the work environment is worse than the platform itself
I've never known exactly what "Kick" was, but I knew to stay away from it because of how bad the reputation is. Disgusting but unsurprising to be proven right. I hope they get sued the fuck outta the stratosphere
I understand the need for evidence on the companies end and the fact that we as regular people can come to whatever conclusion we want with no repercussions. However, what are people supposed to do? Record everything at all times in case someone says something bad? It’s not exactly easy to go forward with he said she said arguments.
As an HR Manager, I've worked for internet-centric companies that have no ties to their local communities and only want HR reps who will toe the company line and suppress or manage any damage from these kinds of whistle blowers. This is why I currently work for a company that is heavily rooted in its community and can't just up and leave or burn bridges without risking their relationship with the clientele. Frankly, I'm not surprised Kick's management behaves like this, considering their clientele are those banned from other streaming platforms.
"Nothing was brought up internally" is a pretty boiler-plate way to say "we never wrote anything down and minimized her concerns until she quit," honestly. Like who do i believe? Someone who quit a techjob at a company that is - at least currently - making bank, or the dude at the top of what appears to be a pretty solid atmosphere of Everything's Fine Don't Bother The Boss With This. edit: typo
Not surprised with how Kick's streamers behave. I feel bad for her, but honestly their streamers show everyone what kind of company they are behind the scenes.
Almost everyone in Hollywood and the entertainment industry gonna spend eternity regretting their greed and moral compromises they made in life cause something tells me they think they don’t need to ask for forgiveness.
I think if a company wants to have a real investigation, then they hire an outside source and make the results and consequences public. Internal investigations will always be suspect in the public eye and no one will trust the actual result.
Now this is the kind of news that actually makes sense to have Hasan lol. He used as a political anecdotal so often, but he's a professional Streamer, so if there's any industry he knows, it's that.
@@Anno_Welf_IV Yea, he's biased in everything really, but I prefer listening to his points about streaming over his points about politics. Stick to what he knows is all im saying lol

This just in your feels don't matter in a company whose primary goal is to make money surely the world is reeling from such a revelation. What??? A site where a dude literally got told multiple times the girl he's with is 16 and he said "I Don't Care"
Is being pricks? Impossible. 😮
Whaaaaat? A gambling site has questionable morals and ethics 😱
Kick having a toxic workplace? Makes sense.
Everything xQc says and does makes me at the least mildly annoyed. Why was he spam clicking between those two tabs back and forth?
I don't understand why anyone watches him. He's an unlikeable doofus (to put it very mildly) who can barely string a couple words together.

"consistently hearing the...." what? it sounds like she said "effsoil," which isnt a word. even the subtitles couldnt figure it out. it just said "ow"
To capitalism, you are always disposable
Nobody is responsible for you, except you.
Yes
I mean have you seen the streamers on kick?
No, but I avoid that site like... I was going to say like the plague, but that phrase doesn't exactly hold up post 2020

Not the justification, more like she's slandering the former employer for no reason and adding more to harm Kick's credibility
The video title is giving cancer
That means we won't have to listen to your complaints for much longer.
Why would she resign for these specific reasons if they were not true?
