  • I have so been putting this off. I am against time now and needing to find a solution for removing the collected bits and bobs from the shed having filtered out the things I no longer want to keep. I figured the storage box which is not very sound will have to be the answer. First things first I need to stabilise the box having removed everything that is in, this of course begins another sorting job. Before I start this task I have a bright idea about using the half barrel or water butt that I have. There is a lot of condensing the nets and fleece that I empty from the box and then reposition it. Having got things out I then need to get everything including the remaining shed contents back into the box, Tardis time. I have an impromptu movement of a large structure and go on to prune my Red Cirrants....wow what a busy morning.
UK Allotments are the ideal place to learn how to grow fruit and vegetables. My allotment is a no dig allotment and I share how to grow vegetables and how to prepare a no dig garden. If you are growing in a backyard garden or homestead and you want some tips on how to grow vegetables I hope my channel has something to offer. Allotment ideas are always worth sharing and I am happy to share my gardening ideas and failures so that we can all learn to grow vegetables together. I also learn on the allotment nearly every time I am there and learning how to grow in a Polytunnel or greenhouse can be a fun an exciting experience too. If you are one of the many allotment beginners or thousands of people growing in your garden for the first time then join me growing on Allotments For Fun and food and get some allotment ideas

Great video Malcolm. Hasn't the time gone quickly? March next week! Goodness me. You have made the most of the time and it is all rather splendidly downsized, but still very much your plot. You tease, you! can't wait to see what you have coming in to that space 🤔😃 Have a great rest of the week👍

Hi Malcolm , your perseverance and hardwork is certainly paying off, Well done. I think I already guessed what it is before you let the cat out of the shed! Knowing you, youve clearly picked up a bargain. Good times 👍

Malcom I would put the current bushes in friut cadge and then you would have all your friut in one place and then you could make seating area near your shed just a thought but it's looking great

The stiff netting I make into covers for my seed trays as blackbirds dig them so with a gram of wood staple netting on it and as it stiff it stands up

I don’t think my strawberries have survived after moving them into pots last year to then move out into a raised bed this weekend!
That’s a nice big crown of rhubarb! I’ve had to do similar but more to stop rabbits eating the fresh crown growth 😢😢

Great job once again Malc , loved your update and was great to see the progress of your Globos , I have a tip if you want to consider for use with your sweet peppers , I follow a guy called Ivan from Ivans Gardening Allotment , he advised for good germination to soak the seeds overnight in water with an old teabag , next day dry off and plant they should take 7 days to germinate , it worked for me and I never have success with Sweep Peppers ever lol , anyway keep up the good work 👍

Loads of work done that day Malc and it's all coming together now. It's a pity you couldn't put a cover on that cage and turn it into a small Polytunnel or somewhere you can put your stuff out of your main Polytunnel, but it does depend on where it's final spot will be.
    Stay Safe.

Will you be putting a fence or break between the “new” plot and the old or just leave it open? You’ve certainly done a lot of work and it should be much easier going forward to maintain. 👍👍🇨🇦
