  • I document my first impressions of Taipei, Taiwan vlog style in the travel video. Venturing out from my hostel just a few hours after I arrive in Taiwan for the first time, I get some Taiwanese food to eat and explore the city.

I loved those two shots starting at 3:47! I would love to visit Taiwan one day, hopefully sometime in 2020! Excited to see more of your videos!

So you've finished visiting east Asia and got back to US? The price here varies from store to store. It can be as cheap as 40 NTD for a meal just like what you did but it's sometimes as expensive as charging you 160 NTD for a handshake drink to go. Of cause it's generally cheap compared to USA or Japan but the local people generally have mixed feelings towards the price. The average salary here has stagnated for 20 years while the general prices have doubled during this period of time.
The lots number of high mountains and the unique indigenous culture are the distinctive feature of Taiwan. Just step outside of Taipei and its adjacent areas, you'll find out the real beauty of Formosa.

Omg i'm sorry to say this to you but the way you pronounced "Thank you (xie-xie)" actually sounds like pee-pee in Chinese hahaha. I think the pronunciation is something more similar to "xieh-xieh"? Also I really like your style of vloging, very true and natural! plz keep it up:)

Hahaha ni hao! You’re not too bad at mandarin! Taiwan has been one of my favourite country. Also, a little late to say this but I hope you enjoyed yourself there 😄
