This scene does such a good job making Mahoraga look like a complete beast, walking through literal carnage and visual nonsense and just reforming like it's just a gust of wind to it, when it's SUKUNA'S DOMAIN EXPANSION he's trudging through, just makes this thing look like it's beyond strength
this wouldn't be sakuga. honestly, I can't think of another example of abstract visual nonsense used in such a manner, at least not off the top of my head. the closest I can think of is really dramatic impact frames, like in that knee kick in Saitama vs Boros from One Punch Man. but frankly, that doesn't even come close.
I love how just the basic frames alone are enough to deliver excellent animation. It just flows sooo smoothly. looks like something computer generated rather than animated

It feels like they drew mahoraga in his entirety to then erase parts every single frame. Since the arms and legs etc line up perfectly with the cut up pieces. I absolutely hate how the animators were treated, but I've got mad respect for how they were smashing through impossible challenges every bit as much as the characters on the show were. This sequence wasn't just some folks making it over the finish line despite the odds. This sequence represents the animators crushing the finish line beneath their feet out of pure spite and unrelenting self respect.
