I avoided it like the plague. The film looked like garbage, it shows it didn't need to be made.
The original is a comic book classic movie and lightning in a bottle.
The sequels and this sucked! I’m glad it bombed as this franchise is dead and should stay dead.

Can't believe this sludge exist when the original 1994 film with Brandon Lee is still the best and will never be topped 30 years later! Bill Skarsgård can't even nailed it at all with his poor makeup and performance and the rest of this poor excuse of a remake it's visually soulless, awful and boring! The sequels were bad enough but this is crow poop! Coming from a divisive director, Rupert Sanders. While I hated "Snow White and the Huntsman" with Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron, I did enjoy and love "Ghost in the Shell" with Scarlett Johansson a whole lot more.

Easily one of the worst movies of 2024. Hollywood just won't stop making this unoriginal shit. And then they wonder why the industry is falling apart.
The original was a classic comic book movie, action genre and fantasy genre classic as Brandon lee did one great final performance despite most of the rest was a stunt double lookalike and using deepfake technology that was convincing for the time yet still is like in Forrest Gump on the cgi of deepfaking.
Not to mention great villains, great pacing, some likable characters, excellent visuals of using cgi and practical combined for the visuals and a fantastic script that even the comic creator James O’barr loved the original movie. Plus both the score and soundtrack were amazing.
The original was one of those lightning in a bottle movies and one of the more successful comic book movies both film wise and box office wise.
The sequels and this sucked, I mean the short lived tv show wasn’t too bad. But I don’t think The Crow needed a franchise to began with as it should had remain one film as a one shot.
I mean, they should look for other independent comics to adapt into films. Now Spawn can use a remake as the technology got better and can be rated R instead of PG13, I can see it being more like the awesome hbo animated show.

They may have made this movie to keep the rights. Happens a lot in film.
I haven't seen the report that is the reason why and even if it is the case? To me it's not enough of a reason to make the film. Let the rights expire and go to someone else who actually has a reason to make the movie beyond petty reasons.

I agree!We did'nt need all those sequels and we sure did'nt need this!I haven't seen this movie and I'm not going to!Brandon Lee was and always will be "The Crow",so I'll just watch the original!
I havent seen this review but I hope mike or any other reviewer with all due respect doesnt lump me in with the category of people who didnt see this film in theater cause they didnt want another crow film or another recent film with bill skarsgard. I happened to see the original crow last year I liked it, I didnt love it though I never really grew up with the crow tbh I am more familar with his rip off sting from pro wrestling, secondly its hard to get me into the theater anymore due to my lack of interest in movies at this point i much prefer watching at home, thirdly I actually like bill skarsgard in general and im not gonna hop on the hate train of him just cause he starred in some recent films. So yeah just to clear any confusion in case someone wants to lump me as some automatic hater for not going to this movie leading to it becoming a box office bomb.

This is really actually it is pretty godawful remake disrespect brandon lee orignal one.
But the original is actually best more lighting lot of action sequence. Glad this film getting box office bomb already has been cancelled sequel for good.

The original Crow work because it was based on an already good property in the graphic novel and Brandon Lee propelled the character forward with his presence....the rest of the Crows suck, especially this one which you could arguably say is the most boring one of them all
