Years ago, I transcribed a piano and violin version of Czardas I bought very cheaply at some music store for my sax quartet. It was kind of beaten up, but still readable. This version is a staggeringly thoughtful and hilarious interpretation that inspires me to go back to writing for and playing in a sax quartet again. Thank you from the depths of my tiny black heart.
Am I alone in wishing the soprano player was taller than the alto? It’d be cool having the largest sax played by the smallest bloke through to the smallest played by the tallest 😂

Is it just me or does the soprano sax sound exactly like a clarinet in the upper octaves
See the comments on mouthpiece further down. I have the same and sound like a clarinet in the higher register. (And like an oboe in the lower)

I find it mildly amusing how all but one of them use the same ligature
Klarinet is unnecesseryly more than enough to complete the song. This very day and recently klarinet become more than necessary in a band..
