It can be anything, no matter how small or seemingly unimportant. The sun is shining.. the taste of something you are eating. When all else fails and I have a hard time coping, I do that every morning. Also a good one: when all else fails and it’s rock bottom, just go outside and sit against a tree. Allow nature to give you that beautiful gift of healing.. or you can just sit with the pain and allow it to be there. I find leaning on a tree extremely reassuring, it can create a healing space.
