    Another class performance from this very diverse angler. Some anglers go fishing, but some anglers go catching. Kevin is like a magnet to fish, a very analytical angler, who’s time and dedication to the sport is un matchable. Thank you once again for very entertaining video, a great net of silvers, proper old school. Your Dad taught you well. Thanks for sharing.

      @@nottsfishingkbtv402 yes it's, fantastic sport iv done, really well this, year, on the whip 6/ 7m to hand pole with 2/3-6g bolo or big stick Avon 5bb+ 15ft rod hemp, tares caster been great this, year. I found groundbait attracts small stamp fish and is harder to hold in your swim.

      Hi Craig, need a 4x4 for the incline. Swimmers were much further up on the Gunthorpe Lock side 🎣

      @@nottsfishingkbtv402 always numptys up there, I got my 7 seater down that incline ,when I did a 48hr barbel match, full of gear, luckily it's a automatic, but definitely squeeze bumcheeks time, getting up was worse, on that loose gravel, got up there ,but slowly, wheels spinning on the gravel abit, crazy ,never doing that again, had some nice fish ,including a 3lb brown trout, bloody surprised me I'll tell you, will have to do a float session down there, newark dyke is fishing well on the float, redbridge stretch, cheers craig

    Where do you buy the tares from and do you cook your own

    • @nottsfishingkbtv402
      @nottsfishingkbtv402  Рік тому +1

      I buy them online. Cook them for 1 - 2 hours,,bring to the boil and simmer,,, they need to be not too soft but not too hard. Keep checking them in the second hour. Take a few out at different stages for variable hook baits. Too soft = no good for hook baits and too hard the fish will ignore them.

      Try Harrison's at Ratcliffe on Trent.
