@@matteste I got to D1 through all the Tearlaments decks using 60 card Branded with Evenly, Ishizu, Snow and Necroface. There are still decks that can compete outside of the usual anti meta strategy of using floodgates, especially decks that benefit from your deck being milled like obviously Branded, Shaddoll, maybe Orcust. There are also decks that have the ability to deck out the opponent because most Tears decks are only 40 cards so that's a viable strategy.
12:56 always gets me when the oponent hits baby tiger in the presence of the queen. Sometimes, they hit it multiple times, being like "what's going on?"

So when the new support was added, I was really hoping you'd do another video for them. You're an amazing pilot and deck builder, so whenever you do an archetype I have or am considering learning, I always learn something new from you. Like banishing Amazoness call in conjunction with Onslaught to banish their whole field? I've never done that before. But it's going in the playbook now.

This deck setup is so different from mine. I've been playing Amazons since Master Duel first started and I love the deck more since it got the support it needed.
amazoness best deck in game 100/10 it freaking strong it dont take 10 years to play 1 turn like most deck it easy to build, just click related card and throw almost everything in and u got a proper deck most importantly it fill with so many beautiful girl konami had to censor them
As an Amazoness enjoyer I really want to play Amazoness in masterduel again since the support just came out but man... Tearlaments absorb all the fun I can have playing this game, this horrible archetype is super consistant, has an answer to everything and you can splash pretty much everything you want in it. Amazoness cannot compete against that, what a bummer...
Take it from an Ancient Gear-enjoyer: Going second-OTK is always going to be at least a little bit viable. This guy was playing pretty badly, and not really utilizing War Chief, or Augusta Properly, or using Secret Arts as a combat-trick, which is your main combo. ...that said, against any modern deck, you're probably going to play this as a handtrap-deck at least to a certain extent. If you sink the gems to be able to play Pot of Extravagance, you can play the pure fusion-combo + handtraps, or you can play this version which uses the noble-knights UR to spam out card-advantage if you do manage to go second.
I have been coping with Amazoness since Attribute 4 event (Farming Duel Pass for crafting materials for my meta deck). They can be good, and they are fun but.........they have borderline no disrupts or negates. They're an FTK deck that needs your opponent to not have disrupts in order to work. And that's really not how modern Yu-Gi-Oh works. They hard rely on external cards to run interference. Problem being that if you run too much, your Amazoness cards might brick. You also can't use generic extra deck monsters as easily as in other decks. War Chief is one of your best cards and you can't have anything other than Amazoness cards on the field if you want to special summon War Chief. I'll enjoy Amazoness as my go-to Fusion deck for now, but they are definitely rogue.

While we're on the topic of Tears, I just had a duel where I had several monster negates in hand against Ishizu Tear. He still set up a full board. I ended up with half my deck in the graveyard, including all my remaining negates except for 1. #balancedcardgame

The card returned could have been secret arts, and set it to fussion summon another amazones in the opponent's turn, assuming of course you still had amazoness in your extra deck left or another secrets art in gy to begin with.

Why not make an abyss dweller strategy going first? Because of how many tear decks you will see. I'm still editing my deck but the ideal end board turn one is dweller, empress and queen
I have won so many times against tearlament using amazoness. As matters of fact I think I haven't lost a single duel against tearlament with my amazoness deck yet.
Tearlaments is still a problem. They need more hits on the ban list or cards need to erratted. Something like if sent to the grave, fusion summon but then you can only special summon tearlaments for the rest of the turn.
9:59 something I'd do in that situation is setting secret arts instead of playing it right away, and wait until the end of my opponent's turn to use it. I'd do it because it is an out if the opponent targets any of my amazoness with effects, or if their efects get negate, or to protect the backrow from cards like harpie duster, or to minimizes the impact of a 1-tribute kaiju.

If it was not for it, my guess is that your play would have been activate onslaught, activate liger king's effect and destroy onslaught to revive an amazoness, and then use the onslaught's gy effect to bring another amazoness, then fusion summon Augusta with the liger and princess as materials and go for game with her attacking twice, since amazoness "queen" was used as material for her summon.

I want to get agustus but got so many features tear cards. I got 3 of each features 2 tear's UR card. The other tears monster UR not show up. Waste 5k gem but no agustus. I play casual but tear card playstyle is not my cup of tea.
So many things you did wrong. In the first match, you could have had the same broad with less cards used from toe hand bu just sending a secret technique to the Gy with Call

Now you can summon another Shaman to get or Summon another War Chief another polymerization or the Village, then use War Chief in your hand. At this point you have Augusta, 2 War Chief or 1 War Chief and a shaman and a Village and maybe polymerization on the feild or in hope hand with Amazoness Scout and Secret Technique in your hand Then you can go into Isolde plays because you didn't summon shaman with her effect yet. You can go earth for Battleguard or Heroic challenger, fire for infernoble Knight or Battlin' Boxer, Wind for ninjas, Water for ice barrier, and so on.
As bad as amazon is to some people for me they are pretty annoying and fun. Annoying cause of the trap being able to banish my own monsters on either battle phase
The thing most impressive about these serious of duels is the lack of Tear opponents. I’ve seen them in 5 str8 duels 😂 3-2 against them btw with Swordsoul

As long as you play the game regularly you can F2P farm 5k to 10k gems every month with ease and make any deck you want 😅 I do it although I only go after the decks I like and not EVERY single things that drops
I can agree with ^ I'm F2P and have over 30 decks, I've had em for a long time. Hit the cap I think 2 months? After release, I honestly cant fully remember. It's just about how lucky u get mixed with how u spend ur stuff and build your decks. Like idc about handtraps or staples so I dont use 3 ash or call by etc. Yet would still hit Plat 1 then Diamond when it was out, only reason I stopped is the meta was just stale and it was the same like 2-3 decks for MONTHS. Win or Lose it was boring af

The deck is very cool. It isn't that strong, kind of slow, but can climb the ladder and combine nostalgia with some strenght.
Say what you want about the Amazoness being terrible or whatever... In my eyes they'll always be one of the coolest archetypes ever made

Tear is 100% pay to win deck. But the biggest problems are the Izisu cards. Being allowed to mill half your deck at no cost.
