That place is my Vietnam! lol.

As someone who has had to pull their concealed carry weapon in self defense, I'm so glad i did not have to pull the trigger. Always be ready to, but never want to.
If you are legit looking for a firearm for self-defense go take a class or find a family friend that is a bit of a gun nut to show you the ropes. You can get something that is the size of a rifle so it's easier to control but takes pistol caliber rounds. Something that takes pistol caliber rounds is easier to take some place to practice with like at indoor ranges. If you want to have something locked up look into handguns and a quick access safe. There are lots of options for whatever you think will work best for you and generally you can at least handle them at a shop if not rent something at a range to try it out. Different people will probably prefer different things.

Supreme Court was messing about with copyright laws. I'm curious to see what it might do for UA-cam in such in the future. The quick bullet point I heard was they're taking out time limits and instead putting "inpact" as the grounds to sue. So if they can prove you cause damage, even if it was a hundred years ago for some of these big companies with copyrights like Disney, then they still have the right to sue you and there's no statue of limitations. However, if you can prove you didn't too damages or actually brought more views of them, like a meat canyon parody bringing something back into the popular light, I would think Hunter would then have the ability to say You can't sue me because I helped your business drawing eyes to it.
