Thank you. Terrific video. Long-time photographer who is learning something new every day. Today I learned many things! Now off to practice. Happy New year.
Thank you! Yes this new feature is amazing! By the way, what is the number one thing you would like to learn on photography and retouching? I will make a video on it! :)
@@SergeRamelliPhotography Thanks for your videos over the years. The number one thing(s) I'd like to learn in retouching would be most of the Masking tools - more on the variations with using the Intersect and also the Add and Subtract - which I confuse. Another idea for a video would be on how your photography and retouching advice has grown or changed over the years. At present, as a starting point, I still use your old dictum of moving the Highlights and Shadows to -100 and +100, Clarity to +30 and Vibrance to +25, and Sharpening to 40/10/25 with Masking at 50. I then adjust the Whites and Blacks to the edge of clipping before going on with other adjustments. Thanks.
Great video! Could you please tell me the make of the quick release base CLAMP (to secure the L bracket to the tripod head)? I also do not feel at ease with the screw knob. Thanks
Seeing opening the shadows all the way and killing the highlights as some sort of a "formula" just makes me cringe… "Embrace your shadows and protect your highlights".
this is not photography but graphics. if you are not capable of making a city or a landscape interesting in bad weather, it is better to do nothing or change jobs.
This is just fascinating, the options are limitless.
very precise and tasteful.
first time watching your videos. I learned a lot on the way you edit in lightroom thank you. subscribed
Nice video! I learned some good tips :)
My friend: You are a magician!
I like seeing your camera settings as you take the photos, thanks!
Amazing ❤
Thank you for showing the REAL before and after shots !

Venice weather is never gray nor ugly .. try that weather at 6am... hehehe amazing
It's good to see Serge working with Lightroom without jumping to Photoshop. His use of the "mask intersect" feature was very informative and helpful.

Question.
Are u setting the lens to in infinity, one meter or are you using a DOF calculator?
Thanks
William
Beautiful. Thank you. However, be aware that Sony has always been notorious for sensor dust, apparently to this day from what I can see.
Question Serge: you always crop using the 16x9 ratio...what size(s) do you usually print your photos?
Thank you.
I'd like to know what size print also.😊
I would not recommend to shoot at F22 because of diffraction.
this is the favorite aperture value of all French photographers, ahaha
Serge, do u do panorama on manual?
Church: Santa Maria della Salute
What time of the year was these where the crowds were almost gone?
Never. Tourist traps will always be traps
