I recommend another way to clean the tank: 1) First, use the "Tank Clean Function" This will cure a thin layer of resin in the active area of the LCD. 2) Pour the resin from the tank to the bottle. 3) Clean the tank. A rectangle of cured resin will still remain in the tank. 4) Scrap off the cured layer of resin using the plastic spatula (carefully). Usually it goes well and in one step. This method is much less brutal than yours in the video :)
Hey bud, I recently got the Saturn 3 ultra 12k. I looked at all these cool prints people have made and I got so excited I purchased one without looking more into it. I have recently been on Reddit and saw some posts of people saying about the fumes and toxins this gives out and can be extremely dangerous. I have a small computer room with a small window. So ventilation is a problem. Can you give me some advice on what I should do to eliminate this risk or should I return this product before its too late. Many thanks. Keep up the good work.
I just got my Saturn 3 ultra recently, as well. With the single filter unit, I had a bit of a smell. I borrowed my friends air quality meter, and it wasn't great. I purchased the 2 pack of filter units , plugged in the second one, and the smell went almost all away. The meter showed a good improvement as well. I went out on a limb, and purchased the Mars mate, hooked it up, and I have no smell, the meter didn't pick up any VOC's, and the regular air quality was pretty nominal. I did all of this because my studio is just a bedroom, and I have cats.
Thank you very much for your reply. I will look into getting another filter unit. I am currently doing a little project with ventliation piping and building a wooden/plastic box to go over my window. Basically a home made DIY (filteration system). Keep your fingers crossed it works. If this does not work I will look into the mars mate to see if that helps. I need to get one of those air quality meters. This 3d printer hobby is becoming expensive. :/ @@gkeaton9755
