Canelo's Double Jab + Cross

Canelo had a lot of tricks up his sleeve against Jermell Charlo one of them being a double jab + right hand. This is actually how the setup to the knockdown in the 7th round played out. So he started off mostly by extending his first jab trying to measure distance and range. Most of time allowing him to actually get close enough to touch Charlo. So the first jab was the actual punch he committed to. The second jab he just kind of pumped it out there and was more like a distractor keeping Charlo's line of vision occupied down the center. As he did this he would loop the right hand around Charlo's guard and find Charlo's chin. This is how Canelo also scored the knocked down in the 7th round as i mentioned. The over hand right was also sometimes turned into a right hook to the arms that we have seen Canelo throw again and again in previous fight. To make matters worse for Charlo, Canelo would add variety to this combo as well by adding a punch at the end of this combo such as a left hook (to the body or head).
