Excellent performance of choir, choir director and orchestra!! I replayed this three times. That was how much I loved it!! The happy faces of all the participants is great!!
What a trimendous choir l have thurly enjoyed it great to hear the Praises of the Lord being sung at full volume, so thanks to everyone who has made this great video 👍👍

These are hymns of worship that flow from the hearts of people redeemed and forgiven by the Lord Jesus Christ. This appears as though it is a performance of people who are actors in this endeavor as a form of entertainment. I would not call it worship.
The widespread swaying is distracting from your singing.
This choir has a lot of potential. The swaying and moving up and down is distracting and looks like overacting. I do not doubt these young people's devotion to Christ. But the choral quality should be at the level of Baylor University and Belmont University. Especially since the dean of music is excellent snd came from the University of Texas. He should be directing this choir, not the current guy.
Emoting isn't distracting at all--it's engaging and should be commended. I have shown their videos to my own public school choir to show them what real energy and emotion look like. More importantly, They are passionately worshipping and you have to move to do that. It's just wrong to stand stoically like a secular choir and sing about Jesus. Just look at the joy on their faces--they're the real deal. They came to our church about a month ago and they are the best choir I have heard in 20 years of attending Missouri and Texas Music Educators conventions. If you heard them live--you would understand. More importantly, they are representing Jesus and doing it well
The movement is awesome. I have seen them many times in person over the years. So much energy it’s unreal.

Lovely music, but I wish they'd hold still. All the swaying about was quite distracting.

Are you kidding me? In all due respect to your opinion, that is what has been missing from choirs. Performance isn't the goal, worship is. And if you can worship the almighty God of this creation without moving anything but your lips then you may be looking more for performance. Think about that! Love the Lord your God with ALL of your heart, soul, and STRENGTH!.
Some choirs are so dead when they sing, they appear lifeless. This choir probably looks different when viewed from a distance. I like movement within choirs, especially when it is coordinated. Looking at this recording again, I get the sense that it was taped specifically for broadcast, so the members are especially expressive here, or as I like to say, "singy."
Love this choir and orchestra so much. There is just authentic praise in every chord, syllable, note. God bless you all.
Did you ever watch the Mormon tabernacle choir? Great sound but they look dead on their feet. Dr Bonner’s choirs are alive and energetic.
