Now the buyer knows the value of the property: 0 for the house, minus demolition cost and dealing with asbestos, plus the value of the lot in this neighborhood which must be wonderful…
These videos are hilarious. Half of the time the jokes are the house itself. I audibly gasped at so many of the things in that house. Subbed a while ago but hope you get more!
The foundation with no soil touching it, there was a show on TV called Good Bones. A mother/daughter team running a company in Indianapolis called 2 Chick's & a Hammer used to call that a magical floating foundation!😊
I’d be afraid the dump would burn down around me! Or the whole house would just dump into the basement. My professional opinion is that it is a scrape and burn….once the asbestosis is removed
I honestly just had to stare at that carpet padding under the laminate. Like, honestly I love laying laminate. It’s so easy to install, I can’t believe you added a step THAT unnecessary lmfao.
How has it not either fallen down or burned down? Was the brick look siding asbestos? That’s what used to be used a LOT in poorer neighborhoods decades ago, at least in the state where I live. Only thing this house is good for is demolition after remediation of asbestos! Or practice for fire department after asbestos removed…or not. After all, isn’t that why they wear respirators when fighting fires in old houses?!? 😵💫
Uh, you have to wear SCBA in ANY fire... Asbestos abatement in this house would probably make it too expensive to burn down, probably 10-20K for remediation.
This one really had me noping and laughing! A foundation wall w/o a concrete footing supporting it? What the heck? I suspect this is going on with a lot of other inspection videos I see, but LOL, no one bothers to actually dig down along the inside foundation wall to see if there is actually a concrete footing supporting it. Especially suspicious are the ones where there is dirt back filled against the interior foundation wall in the crawl space. No worries, the bank will still finance it.
That energized line hanging down is a big bunch of HELL NOPE!!

The house is worth less than the cost of the inspection.
That fake brick siding must have been the most popular siding in the early 1900s. Almost every old cheaper house in Missouri has it!

I'm pretty sure your life expectancy went down once you entered that building. Fortunately, you did make it out alive.
Now the big question, what are they asking for that lovely home?

I'm waiting for the "Big bunch of nope" merchandise

There is one good thing about that house , the exit door!
I honestly just had to stare at that carpet padding under the laminate.

That door shaped hole in the wall in the basement? Looks like something got buried under the house. 😂
My house was almost that bad when i bought it. Right down to the carpet padding under snap-laminate flooring.
Lick of paint and she'll be as good as new!
Only way that one could be worse is termites, nail-knob wiring in use and leach field failure.
The bluetooth'd foundation adds character to an otherwise bland home, I say.
congrats on your master inspector. you deserve it.
That is a tear down!
At least, those open junction boxes weren't hidden!
I've never actually seen Insulbrick siding in person, you lucky dog.

InsulBrick siding is not a known asbestos-containing material, it's made from a wood or cellulose-based material and asphalt.
...and it's still present in only the classiest of ghettos.

Talk about hard wiring. I wonder if they turned off the electric when the tied the extension cord to the ceiling fan box
You can hear the problem in that house in the video. The music and voice in the background tell you everything
Place is match job.
Maybe just need a big bunch of red tape that says condemned
Looks like a drug users house😂❤
Shouldn’t it be condemned?
When the music started playing, I expected some Indian guy to come out saying welcome to 711 today. How may I help you?
Buyers agent involved?
Ooh, good question.
House looks like a puzzle
Invest in a house of horrors.
Hoooly crap
