Hey Friends! I hope you enjoy this winter tiered tray video. In this video, I decorate 3 winter tiered trays, as well as a Valentine's Day tiered tray. I know that tiered trays have fallen out of vogue a bit (according to some "experts") but I thought I would revisit the notion with this video as I do believe there are still many, like myself, who enjoy decorating tiered trays. A few years back our local library called us and said that they were tossing out all their Nancy Drew books and were wondering if my daughter wanted them because apparently our family was the only ones checking them out. I think you are the queen of decorating tiered trays, you always find the sweetest things to display. I loved seeing all the valentine decor that out and it was fun seeing you style a valentine tray. I loved Nancy Drew books. Always remember, WWNDD. What Would Nancy Drew Do. This Christmas my nine-year-old granddaughter discovered some books in my library, and she spent the rest of the day reading them ignoring everything going on around her. I love her getting so immersed. When she returns one, she can pick another.
Hi Deborah! Haha- I love that you say that. So true! That reminds me of a story that I hopefully won't bore you too badly with. Years ago- When I was a young pretty teen, I was followed once in my car by some other boys in a car. I thought to myself at the time, "I'll do what Nancy would do." And I am sure that you know - as I know- what she would do. So I went to an area in town with a bunch of short streets and was fortunately able to lose them...BUT if that would not have worked I would have done the other thing Nancy always did and drive right to the police station. 😁 I think that is wonderful that your granddaughter is reading Nancy Drew. I am going to purchase a 3 tier tray in rustic white from Amazon to try and emulate your 1st design. I love all of them by the way but the 1st one suits my grey kitchen cupboards, with the white tiles. Nancy and her friends uncover counterfeiters in a cave and there is a heart stopping moment where Nancy and her friends have to reveal who they are to these counterfeiters by taking off their costume. It's hard to explain but trust me- it's a good one in case you have not read it yet. Another great one is the Bungalow Mystery. And Captive Witness is also superb. Just giving you ideas. Love your new fur baby! You combined the red and the pink perfectly!! In my mind's eye it always either had to be red or pink and seeing your video makes it all good for me. I loved some red and white scalloped plates from Homegoods last year, never got them but the dollar store has some nice ones now. Target and also Hobby Lobby has some nice glass pink birds, boy & girl, so so cute!! I still have some books from the 1930's that I bought from an antique store and from ebay so many years ago! I think the old ones are the best. I love to talk about Nancy Drew. 😁You probably know this already, but apparently, it was a group of people that wrote the books and they just all used the pen name "Carolyn Keene." When I was a teenager in the 1990's I remember thinking that Carolyn Keene must be very old and I must meet her before she dies. I was so disappointed to learn that no one existed by that name. But either way- now I hope I didn't disappoint you if you didn't know that. Either way, how wonderful that your mom passed her love for Nancy Drew to you. I'm wondering if you have a favorite book. I know that's a tough question as perhaps it's been a while since you have read th3 books. But my favorite is probably The Secret of Red Gate Farm. (That's the one where Nancy and her friends discover a group of counterfeiters in a cave) The Bungalow Mystery. Captive Witness. The Haunted Showboat. The 99 steps. The Tapping Heels. I could go on. P.S. Amazon has wonderful battery-operated candles, with remote controls. I have them all over my home and especially my rental cabin as I don't want flames in it. My son is a firefighter, and he is happy I have converted. (Of course, I usually have one scented candle in my bedroom, and are very careful with it.)

Hi Rachel love your videos! I especially love the tiered tray videos. I am scared that people aerie getting away from tiered tray videos, so I hope you can stick with it. I love the way you talk in the video as if you are talking to a friend! Keep. It up. Thanks for sharing the ballon lights I will give that a try. I am in the process of trying to get rid of some decor and wonder if other gals are in there same thought to get rid of a few items. How do they decide to keep or get rid of something for decor. I am just trying to decide and it’s not easy. I still love tiered trays and not finding so many items these days. Keep up the good work!
Well let me tell you what! I have gained more subs per view on this video than any previous ones. So you tell me- there's no following. Goofy! So dont worry, I definitely plan to keep doing tiered trays! The balloon lights die out fast but they aren't much different from the tea lights I find- and they are definitely more cost effective- in my opinion. Next time, I will buy a bigger package. Oh- and Nanette- SAVE the little white tabs when you pull them out to turn on the lights. You can stuff the tabs back in and save on battery life. 😊

Hi Sharon! Thank you for the sweet compliment! It's always a joy to meet another believer!! By God's grace, I am a Christian. I was saved when I was ten and was privileged to grow up in a Christian home. I do try to use this channel as a ministry (though small) by sharing verses on Sunday's in my community posts and praying for people while encouraging them to live for the Lord. I appreciate your sharing the reference from James. I think it's our duty as Christians to share Christ in whatever capacity He gives us. I don't do a ton of DIYs on this channel as I'm not as confident in my crafting skills as some, but I do love to decorate and work in my kitchen. I’m from California I think lollipops is what everyone calls them there. Now I live in Oklahoma and they call them suckers. It must be depending what part of the country you are from

I want to paint my 3 tier tray like yours. What spray paint did you use?
I used White Rust-oleum 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer from Walmart in the Satin finish. It was $5.98 at my Walmart. Funny thing , I almost included a picture of the can I used and then forgot to. Thank you for watching! I hope your tiered tray turns out how you like it! Have a lovely day! 😊💕
