i do think he was toxic sometimes because he believed he didn't deserve to be loved but he was not a traitor, his relationship with the other girl was more like friendship, and it was open, even tho they never even had romantic or any moments at all, like I said it wasn't a romantic thing, it was more based on the fact that they both nedeed someone they knew well, like a partner not a lover, he always made clear to everyone that he didn't felt comfortable in a serious relationship, in the story we see that is because of his insecurities and his trauma that he thought he didn't deserved to be loved, caused by his family's past, even the girl he was with wasn't a serious girlfriend and she knew that, she was more like a best friend, this is shown by the fact that they didn't used to kiss, hug or even have sex, and that was their "situation ship", she thought that one day he would actually fall for her, but it's not like he actually gave her hope of anything, in the end this drama is about complicated people, he had a reason for being like that and he had a reason to change, in the end that's just a realistic drama, people have flaw's, sometimes people will avoid having romantic feelings because of trauma and that's okay, he never wanted to deceive any girl tho, he always explained everything, if he was just a plain selfish jerk I wouldn't be saying that 😂, he was just some insecure traumatized by love man, but Na-Bi was too good for him, the way he gradually changed when he met her was so natural and real, I understand the character and I think he deserved his happy ending, even tho if I was her I would have chosen the other guy as soon as he first appears 😅, but since Na-Bi didn't, it makes sense they ended up falling for each other and starting a serious and healthier relationship, they both matured a lot as human beings together, my relief is that it was it was noticeable that he really loved Na-Bi, I would say he loves her more than she loves him even
