Okay, I'll run14/50 tomorrow, I'm on a 2024 XC300 at Croom FL for 4 months! This video series really helped me . I'm in massive FL deep sugar sand whoops. A rider. I realize how talented you are. Awesome videos, I mean it.
You mentioned being impressed immediately by certain bikes. It would be a cool video for you to cover your top 5 favorite bike/year/ models of all time. These videos are amazing please don’t stop!
Hey! When/if you get the new ECU map you will be able to read and clear codes from home. Pinnit Racing sells the code reader. My 2024 TX300 had the old map and I couldn’t connect to the bike. After I did the new update I was able to connect to it. Nice job on the build!
I’m pumped to see where you go with gearing. I just mounted a 13t front to mine with the stock 49 rear. Gotta hit the trail with it yet to test. I used stock gearing in the mountains of Montana and that was no good. Way too tall.
The 23 300SX revs out hard in the green map, it’s got enough off the bottom to pick up tractably and goes hard mid to top. It’s an absolute weapon in the desert. Wicked fun. Softer white map feels a bit flat in the dunes but it’s good for rough of piste lines and at the local motocross track which is dry and dusty. 21hrs in, not touched it, just dropped the forks 1 ring and added a little air pressure for my weight and rebound damping to suit the extra air and heavier spring, plus some compression for the desert rides. Still trying to get used to only having a 5sp box though. 😅
Are you happy with the front suspension ? after watching your last vlogg i have been looking into it for my husky ! Do you ever use or have other heads with the interchangeable combustion domes for more bottom ? (phatt heads ?) never used one myself .. lovin the vlogg i always learn summit ...Not sure about all the fault codes my mrs says i have too many faults as it is !!
These new Ktm’s don’t clear themselves I’ve found out, they need clearing by plugging it in at a dealer. When I was disconnecting things and trying to start bike it added more so I ended up with 4 codes flashing 😂
